My 360 that usually starts right up won't start.

It's on a tender. Tender says battery is good. Lots of clicking, but no cranking. Drove it Monday to multiple destinations without issue. Anyone have advice to offer?

Just because it is on a Battery Tender that doesn't mean that the battery is in good shape. I would suggest that if you get the clicking sound yet the engine isn't turning over that you still are not getting enough juice from the battery to run all the computers....etc. Try hooking up jumper cables to the battery directly and remove the tender. I had a battery Tender fry a battery of mine once. Never used one again after that.

+1 on the battery, it can cause many headaches. Definitely start there.

Yes, I'm beginning to suspect the battery is bad regardless of what the tender says. Thanks!

I thought I read here that jumper cables were a bad thing and could damage the electronics, or am I mistaken??

I heard that too. For what you have in your car, I'd just buy a new battery and try it.

Pull her out mate and have her checked out. :):)

It sounds like it may have dropped a cell. :):)

Yep, jumping a 360 can cause a voltage spike which can harm some electrical components. :):)

I think the speedo is bad for playing up after a jump start. :D:D

So true!!! Do not jump your car ever!!! I learn that at the hard way.
Just take your voltimeter and check the battery at 20V DC setting. Your battery should be reading between 12.2V and 12.4V with the engine off. Or just take that battery out and go to AutoZone to check it and re-charge it.

Bad Battery. New one installed. Want to consider the whole sealed/gel battery thing, but for now a good old Die Hard did the trick. Their "international 48" fits perfectly, has the vent and is still lighter than the original. Thanks for everyone's input!

To bad you already bought a new battery. I would recomed the Odyssey 925. It works great and you save around 13 pounds over stock.

My 360 had the same issue and it was on the Ferrari battery charger that came with the car.

I would not do anything fancy on your f car. The dealer did the parellel batttery thing in my car and still could not get it to start. I few minutes later he repleced the battery and life was good again.

    good luck to you.

I know. The Odyssey 925 needs some mod to get it in properly and I'm taking the car on a drive tomorrow with the local club. I didn't have time to deal with a project, I wanted the problem solved. I'm still considering the Odyssey.

I think it's closer to 20 lbs. I posted the difference on a thread a while back. Great battery. No need for a tender.

My 2003 360 (30K) will not start, was fine last week. This week the CHECK OK light goes on and then ASR light replaces it. Next to speedometer the BRAKE and ABS lights are lite. On the multidisplay, the engine symbol and AIR BAG lights stay lite. I get nothing when trying to start. Battery or something my serious??? None of these lights were on last week.
