I'm going to be in the area exactly a month from today. How are the mudbugs looking this year? They were a little small last year. God, I miss good Southern/Cajun food!

we tried to get some last weekend and found some for $6/pound (way overpriced) and they weren't even that big, so didn't get them.

For $6/lb we might as well start throwing lobster in our crab boil! That's nuts

I think $4.50 a pound was what I paid here for Fat Tuesday, maybe $4.99........most of them were good size, but I cried 'cuz I ate some babies......

Or maybe it was the hot sauce!

Lady Valeria ordered the bucket, ate a few...and I spent the rest of the night, with 3.5 pounds and the sides....her Mom would eat 'em if I peeled them first...I was stuffed.

I'll look around and see what I see......

Wow! $6 a pound! I don't think I've ever seen them that high. Lobster was on sale for $5.99 a pound a the local grocery last weekend. I'll be on the MS Coast for a conference the week of March 15 and also checking on my house in Diamondhead. We plan on going over to Slidell to pick some up as they don't serve them hot in MS.

There's a place on Hwy 603 south of I-10 called Cuz's Seafood. They have a restaurant and a market, and the food is very good.

Hi Kevin, I'm planning to do another one this year but I want to wait for the weather to be a little more predictable. Last year was such a mess but Im still thankful to the one's who came. Im a frequent visitor at Jazeppi's and Salute and they always ask when we are coming back. You driving the Mas down again?

Hey Joe, It was a little rainy last year. I'm in Atlanta this evening and will be there tomorrow. Dodged rain all the way. Didn't bring the Maserati this year. I'm driving my Mercedes 300SDL which has been converted to run on waste vegetable oil. It's a neat cruiser!

Went and checked on the house in Diamondhead today, but it was to early to stop by Cuz's although we passed it on the way to the Bay. Got some crawfish at Fayard's in D'iberville for $4.39 a pound, but they were huge! Sucked down 5 pounds in record time! I really miss those little guys. Thanks for the feedback.
