    Is there a manuel way to open a gas cover for a gallardo? hit switch and it wont open...

    The Lamborghinis have a bunch of manual ways to open various things that get stuck so I looked at the Gallardo parts diagram by going to www.lambostuff.com and then clicking Parts -> Gallardo -> FUEL CAP (its in the list)

    and you can see Item #10 is the FUEL FILLER LID MANUAL OPENING CABLE.

    The diagram should help tell you where it is but the owner's manual should also show it.

    Besides the orange lariat (manual release cable) >>> The engine must be OFF for the gas lid switch to operate.

    Foot on brake for it to work also in my Gallardo.

    If it's a spyder you can put it in service mode (hold up and down button at the same time) and it will raise the engine cover half way and stay there.
