Until I get at least some pictures or ideally see a GTO in in the flesh I am using both the HGTE because I 've actually seen one or a 599XX as a base for colors. Also hoping for some direction from my dealer and or the factory before I actually spec. mine. My gut is telling me that I will probably have to spec. it before seeing it. That makes me very nervous indeed.

Rosso China for the exterior; no exterior stripes and ball polished wheels. Interior - bright blue cloth for the seats but with none of that 'contrasting stitching' business. The door panels finished in real polished aluminum and the metal floor finished as in the Stradale. Black dash and not a stitch of carpet for the interior of the car and radio delete...too bad the roll bar option isn't offered on this side of the pond.

I am not Italian, but I would buy rosso scuderia with matt grey roof, carbon headlight "bowls" and black wheels.
Inside black alcantara. Four point harness

    simple is beautiful

mine is white with blu stripes, black wheels, i've also ask if it's possible to have the rear diffusor and the other carbon outside the car not matt, but like the scuderia.
only the interior i'm not sure, but i think charcoal alcantara and black

What do you mean? The interior or the exterior door panels?

Hi aaron here is the quote after talking about the interior color> "The door panels finished in real polished aluminum and the metal floor finished as in the Stradale". Polished aluminum is for the 'inside' door panels not exterior. Think back to the painted red door panels on the very early F40 models. Something simple like that but in polished bare metal. You could use 'engine turned' aluminum for the dash instead of the carbon look that has become so popular. More of a connect with the old cars; not just a tarted up 599. Likewise stripes of all sorts have become far to common. Merely putting on stripes is hardly a 'historic' connection. You can't go far wrong if you 'keep it simple' with some nice subtle details...

aaron not the best view but something like this design as seen on the F40 for the inside door panel on the 599 but finished in polished bare metal. The side impact bar could be suitably covered up...

When I saw this car in the flesh ... first seconds it blew me off my feet. 2 minutes later it started reminding me of an AC Cobra. Latter is a fantastic car but just didn't feel right for the GTO.

Still, the blue mirrors and stripe stand out well against the bianco body.

PS: ( I did go for the black wheels. They make it look like a beast :) )

Congrats with your choice. Will be stunning.

"Blue tour de France" for the body and "blue Mediteraneo" for the roof will be stunning.
Don t forget historic version with electric blue for the seat for a rosso corsa body choice...
