Dude, I joined the PCM for a 230km drive this morning & ended with Nasi Bryani in Sunway. Funtastic.......

I took my trusty old 964 there & one of the oldest of the lot. About 20cars turned up. Very organised, some of us got lost & main body waited a few times to join back. Did a fast run from a new highway to Seremban @ 7.45am with magnificent views, we were driving through mountainous terrain with cloud floating pass!

Stopped for a quick b'fast & did another long B road through plantations etc. passing through Sepang & then Sunway where another 10+ cars including a yellow 355 & Gallardo joined us.

Thank goodness my old ride kept up with the convoy but sorely missed a manual car for the B roads.

Lung/Tim/Derrick, thanks for a wonderful time this weekend. Excellent planning + the effort to co-ordinate the convoys is very much appreciated. Also thanks for the patience with my heated engine. Help needed for future drives, call me.

Just got off the phone with my dad and guess what, he was spot on as to what caused the fan failure. So fingers crossed that the new fuse will not blow. Cos if it does, then the old girl is off to see the doctor. Anyway, we should make it a habit to keep spare fuses + the owner's manual in the car for these drives.
