Today about 11,there were 2 GT500KRs near the Amon G Carter Exhibit Hall
Auto Show there today and tomorrow. I'll be hitting it tonight. Classics and hot rods, btw............which I just caught in the other Car Show thread that you were there.
Yeah, pretty great if your into classics They had alot of classic Vettes,Mustangs,Camaros, and a couple of Cobras Plus they had the share of modern muscle, like 2 GT500s,a GT,a C6 Vette with the C6R paint scheme,a few modern Corvettes, and a ZR1
Btw,theres a few others parked in the garage under there, like a C3 Stingray, couple of old Camaros, and a S281 I heard an announcement that a blue Aston Martin was illegally parked on a fire line, but couldnt get there to see it.
Titanium-ish (didn't get a good enough look) California on McKinney at Fairmount Friday around 4:00 or so.
Been busy since the All Star break. Here are some highlights: Stunning 365 GTS4 on Ross at a church last week. Yellow Gallardo roadster and dark silver Aston something in the garage at Mosaic during allstar week. Gunmetal Murci and silver Maser Coupe at West End hotel. Same murci hauling up the tollway later that day. Maroon Exige downtown without lights on one night about a week ago. Blue Gallardo roadster (LOD's 2008 Toy Run car) at Colorado and Beckley in the rain last week. Yellow Exige in place of the 430 I love so much on Preston at de Boulle.
Was it black or blue? Had it pass me on the opposite side of 75 as I was coming out of the canyon a few weeks ago. I keep hoping the El Camino comes back, but Iakd rather have the Holden than the Opel, IMO.
My favorite current car drove by me a little while ago. A navy blue Maserati GranTurismo with trident wheels. I went to go see where it went in the neighborhood and saw it parked on a driveway 2 blocks from me. Hope it's not just visiting. Here's the pics I took of it. It was black. http://hphotos-snc3.fbcdn.net/hs442.snc3/25378_612792836269_18800375_35931593_2332227_n.jpg http://hphotos-snc3.fbcdn.net/hs462.snc3/25378_612792841259_18800375_35931594_2107416_n.jpg http://photos-h.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs442.snc3/25378_612792846249_18800375_35931595_1194109_n.jpg http://photos-f.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash1/hs462.ash1/25378_612792851239_18800375_35931596_3122470_n.jpg Pretty neat compared to a similarly priced Cavalier or Cobalt. It'd look pretty good lowered 2 inches.
I have no idea what Iakd is...I did see the Daytona sitting at that church again, in the rain. Have a feeling it may be a kit. Doesn't quite look right. If it wasn't pouring, I would have snapped a few pics. As for the Opel, I see potential with it. I'm sure GMPP will wrap it around a Z06. Would be fun....
I think you're confusing this with the Holden Ute and whatever the Opel version is called. The thing I saw is just a small economy Chevy pickup-car-thing made in Brazil with a 4-cylinder engine. The Ute already comes with up to 364 hp last time I looked the stats up, and is a much better car/truck. I'm really disappointed Pontiac had to kill the G8 Sport Truck which was the name of the imported Holden Ute. I wanted one. It would have been fun, particularly in that purple color. http://zerotosixty.files.wordpress.com/2007/08/07range129jt6.jpg
Just saw a black Quattroporte in Southlake, I know not a big deal, except I haven't seen one on the road in 6+ months! 2 years ago they were everywhere!
Don't think so. Paint was actually Silverstone I think. I only had a quick glance of it that wasn't through the windshield of the car in front of me.
Dropped my 430 off for an oil change at boardwalk this morning, and there were 2 F40s in the service area. Really sweet cars!
Didn't know where to put it, but on I-20 a few days ago, a light blue/green Maserati QP, and in Longview, a Bentley Continental Flying Spur on a car carrier with a few Porsches and BMWs.
