A lot of people took after the 360 grilles which reminds me of the McLaren F1.

On the 918, are those side view mirrors? Or handlebars? :)

Rear-facing video cameras. Less wind resistance than mirrors.

The nose of the new car reminds me of a Tesla for some reason. Probably don't look anything alike but that was my first reaction to seeing the photo.

Finally they built another good looking car and it is not a rehash of a 1963 design. Its about time.

It wouldn't get good mileage the way I would drive it.

    Amen.

The 911 has been a fabulous car. But enough already.

I love Porsche and the ideas that they come up with, but the rear could use a little re-designing.

Thanks Pete, at least someone here besides myself and say a few others know what a Porsche should be.

I'm sorry to say but the 918 does absolutely nothing for me.

I, personally like the pictures of the 918. I agree that it seems to have similarities to a 430.
I also like the looks better than a CGT. Porsche is having styling problems with the rear ends these days!

It looks like pure Porsche to me, with some 718 RSK, and I think the tail is outstanding. If anything, there's a whiff of Audi R8 to the back in the general shape. Maybe ghosts of the 246 GTS in the overall design proportions, but far more athletic than the F430.

It's a better looking Boxster Spyder and not more.
Porsche makes no cars with emotion anymore,it's gone in my opinion.
It stops with the 993(best porsche ever),loses emotion with 996 and definitly gone with the 997.
Good driving cars but that's it.

The 3.4 V-8 engine has passion.

It's been tested and proven with anger and victory at Le Mans handing the Audi's several defeats.

The Italia is real. You can order one today and be pretty sure of a very polished product.

The 918 is a concept. It will most likely be produced. How polished will it be? What price?
