Which makes the Turbo S seems like a more value-for-money proposition since it comes with most of the important functions pre-loaded. Anyway how much does the Turbo S retail for?
not sure ... but i'm guessing 850k or thereabouts ... don't get me wrong, it will be one awesome machine ...
errrr... agree mate... car is nothing without the driver. But, Weng in his ex GT2 didn't get below 2.25.... and I reckon that would pretty much be at the higher end of the skill set so those Evo's doing sub 2.25 are pretty respectable cars... their skills are definitely there but they still need a car that can move with them. And the sub 2.20 guys are basically performing at carrera cup car territory (though I wonder if they are just time attack cars or cars that can run a full length race... I suspect the earlier).... the drawback is they still wont hang with the European cars on top speed cruising... But for me its just the experience of running one of these beasts that I have always feared when I spotted it on the streets and had a healthy respect for. I also suspect I will cringe less every time I throw it around the track compared with the RS, and 4wd is sure to be a fun learning experience....
