Glad nobody was hurt, and that it happened with 5 months before the GP.

Hope it's repaired for the BIG LMS race there May 7, 8 & 9th as this is the last race prior to the LeMans 24h and last year had some 55 entries. This year is to have the Peugeots and Audis there!

They should re-build it using Mosley encased in concrete as the central tunnel support.

Crap, the tunnel at one of the greatest tracks the world has ever known collapses because it hasn't been touched since it was built 32 years ago, probably because of a lack of funds. On the other hand, on the Arabian peninsula they just built a 30 billion dollar fake island/Disney type facility at Abu Dhabi to compete with Bahrain for boring.

The Spa-Francorchamps is really one of the best prep-races for Le Mans. It would be really bad if didn't take place...but don't think that it will happen. the main problems are away from the track...they just have to fix some cracks that opened...for what I read

Here's some photos from another site and the last comment posted (from someone in Belgium):

I don't think any races will get cancelled as they still have just over 4 weeks to get it repaired / filled up.
Trucks could enter the track via the old way, La Source hairpin or Les Combes or even past the med center.

GOOD NEWS - I just got this from someone I correspond with from LMS - No problem at all. It's not the racetrack who collapse only a way for truck.
It will be repair for Le Mans Series
