    A blue 512BB? That's an interesting combi.

You mean the current 308GTB was the exact car that you dad had before? That's gone a full circle! Didn't know that there was a Marcos in S'pore?

Huh, I'm surprised that the rears are rather small. Please shop in Tirerack, CKA gave me the tip & I had them on my F456 now.

Quite a breeze to deal with them & shipping was fast & rather eco too. Have them sent to the tyre shop of your choice & ask for the most recent production possible.

Dude, since you're @ it now & you mentioned uneven wear. Please send the car for a full alignment check with the new rubbers as it is well known for new factory cars to have some problems too. And it really transforms the ride after it!

I did it for my 456GT few days after picking it up & it was really out but now much nicer to drive now.

U have a point Tim, that's what I thought too but since it's on red plate then we might as well buy an open top. I'm thinking of having it to replace my 964 cabrio.

yeah yeah & u forgot about me before passing on to Anthony but thank goodness, that was a long project....

Tim, what's your money on the Testa? It's cheap for a long time now, will it gain ground soon? It is afterall, very easy to use, supercar looks, last mid-engine v12 & available in Singapore.

This one was clearly not stock, and the thing was, we DID change lane to let them pass, but they just followed behind us and started breathing down our necks and flashing the headlamps..thank the lord for sport buttons..haha

HAHAHA, was thinking of harold when I saw it to be honest, but I've never seen his evo9, so I didn't know whether it was his..

Michael. The Marcos was sold to a Jap guy called Mori who also bought our MGA. If you know the where abouts of the Marcos, let me know. Thanks.

Yep, that car has gone one full circle except that we didn't own it before, just lusted at it. The Marcos was a fast car, as fast or maybe a little faster than the 308. Ford engine, 4spd with over drive and a fibreglass body. Nice to see from front and side but horrible rear.

Don't know if it was even shipped back to the Jap owner's hometown in Japan. Lost contact with him but I did spied our previous MGA, now on classic plate which is such a waste. Paint job changed from old english white to red now. Car not well looked after, in a tatty state now.

Don't think so. Wee Hann's 308 is a GTB I think. And I reckon that is the best in existence now, rebuilt lovingly by AM's boss. A real keeper.

Suprisingly black was the original colour in the logcard but makes the car look a little small and does not show the curves as well as red. And red helps create the infamous red mist, something that hit me when I saw the 355! Anyway my wife believes all Ferraris should be red so that helped to win her over.

OK bros, here's some pics (apologies for the poor quality) of my new love :)

For strange reasons I have more feelings for it. Woke up @ 8am to wash the car myself & been spending time giving it TLC. It'll probably need a new coat of paint to clear to stone chips.

Spent some time adjusting the height of the pop-up headlamp. Sent it for tinting & HID immediately after I collected the car. It has fresh tyres & will be sent for a full servicing soon. It takes quite a few miles to warm it up nicely which drives very smooth, nothing exciting but gentlemanly fast.

It's very quiet & has a very nice bubbling idle exhaust while the black color lets it blend into the traffic very well as most people don't seem to pay attention to it.

I kept a pair of enamelled shields since 2005 & when I went to look for it just now, 1 pc is missing! #*% >_<

Very nice, but you sure have a combi of colours that show up any speck of dirt. Must be like me, always clean the interior after every drive and ever watchful when other step into the car. Sad thing is, most don't take care and kick the insides of the car as they get in and out, leaving shoe marks. My kids sit on the door sill and remove their shoes before stepping into the car! Well trained from young.

Thanks Hann. Where have u been hiding? :D

Please post pics of your gorgeous 308!

U know, I've spent few evenings cruising the highways here & this is probably as close to a Daytona that I can afford.

Tell me about that, even the workshop guys try not to drive it. My kids were here for a few days & I took them for a spin & got a few marks on my the rears of my seat but they quickly fell asleep in there which shows how comfortable it is!

U must be quite a monster dad :D
