They are pretty good as they have a fake ebay link that performs like the real one to send the money too. It all looks legit. I played with one of these scammers one time and sent all the info to ebay to clarify.
my 348 is up for sale again. It's on ebay. I didn't have the guts to do no reserve although I came close. But its a damn low reserve. Enough to disprove porscheracer...
Interior looks very nice. I do wonder about it mechanically with only 125 miles on it though. The dealership does say compression and leakdown tests as well as full services and belt change, but I'd still worry. (Note: I am a mechanical nincompoop, so others with more know-how may disagree) When it comes time for me to buy, I'd rather look at a car that's been driven regularly rather than one that's just been left to sit. All the best, Andrew.
Never understood someone buying a new car and never driving it. Purchase for $135k, never driven. Sold 15 years later at a loss of $52K. Depreciation sucks but usually you've gotten enjoyment and use out of it. Even if someone purchases it now, $83k is quite the premium over current values. Driving the car will only accelerate the depreciation down to todays prices of $55-$65k. Then again, probably aren't many other "new" 95's around.
I agree 100% with you, LmnsBlu355. But we get a lot of enjoyment out of driving the cars. The previous owner apparently enjoyed having it as part of their collection, but didn't feel the need to put it through its paces. If someone's looking for a museum piece, it's a very pretty car, but me, I'd rather have mine, scrapes, paint chips, sticky interior, shrinking dash leather, and all. BTW, I adore LeMans Blue. The first 6-speed 355 I test drove was a LeMans blue, and I wished I could have taken that one home that day. My first pick for my 355 was blue, TdF or LeMans, in particular. I'm not unhappy with Rosso Corsa, tho.
the previous owner had several Ferraris and this one never gat drove after purchase...he was older. anyways the dealer spent lots of time going through the car completely. all new fluids. belts the works. i spoke with them about it actually and these guys are gr8. have purchased 3 cars from them so far without any gliches to speak of. just though for some collector this might be a find...
I'm always amazed at the cars like this. Looks really nice. What a great car to have in your collection. I would be afraid to drive it at this point. Don't want to put any miles on it.
+355! The shrinkage around my center console vent doesn't bother me like it would if it were in any of my other cars....it's a sign of the 355's character showing its graceful old age...
Does anyone know of this 355? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Rare-1999-F355-GTB-stupid-low-reserve_W0QQitemZ260571928108QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Cars_Trucks?hash=item3cab4c162c#section-vehicle-glossary I'm debating on which model to get either a well sorted out F355 Coupe 6speed or a 360 coupe 6speed silver or dark grey color with red or black interior. Not really looking for a F1 trans.
why no pics of the engine compartment.....if it has had all the service he implies, then it should look presentable, wouldn't you think?
4-15-05 "COLLISION WITH A FIXED OBJECT (TREE) MINOR TO MODERATE DAMAGE REPORTED" Funny how he doesn't mention this in his add........
Its listed in the Ad: "This car has had an accident though, but it was minor in nature, and has absolutely no impact on the drivability of the vehicle."
Hi I'm selling my 1997 F355 GTB. Excellent condition, serviced and maintained by Eugenio. I am the 3rd owner of the car. Here is the link on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ferrari-355-GTB-Red-Tan-Serviced-Pristine-condition_W0QQitemZ170465282168QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Cars_Trucks?hash=item27b085c878#ht_500wt_1182
car looks awesome!! best of luck on sale. 1 thing I would recommend if you are honorest and not misleading, which you sound sincere is to give service DATES and mileage. Mileage alone does not mean enough especially since fcars generally meet time constraints before miles...a major service done at 30k is one thing but a major performed 8 yrs ago is a huge difference.... beautiful car!
