I have a 04 car that is the same color bought it 8/08, my car has gone through quite a few changes, (mine is converted to RWD), and I have enjoyed owning it and it is likely a keeper for me. I think that looks like a really nice car. Good luck.

I'm sure you are try to help him, but are you an expert on the Gallardo market? The paint work, what do you mean by that, the fact that someone spent a lot of money to have the rear painted, which looks damn good to me. Auction numbers mean nothing, they do not tell you the condition of the car, whether like this car it has a new clutch (could be as much as 7K to do), or how the car drives. Besides those prices only tell you what wholesale prices are, does not tell whether the car needs a clutch, tires, brakes, etc. Lets be real, no one pays auction prices for a retail purchase.

Yep, it sure is..I mean after all, the moment we leave the auction after us Dealers pay for these cars...we sell them for only $250.00 over..we dont have to feed our familys or make a profit..come on Obamma well keep us for free in the hospital if we get sick.

    Get real please...

Doing my research, I have found that there seems to be an opinion to avoid the first 400 2004 cars. Looking at the VIN, I am assuming this is car 613. Can anyone confirm?

Are you basing your statement about the paintwork on what the dealer told you or a PPI? I don't know anything about Straightline Automotive's reputation. I have noticed they move a lot of cars though.

Ummm... it is a Silver '04 Gallardo, with black mirrors, roof and bonnet. They've obviously been painted.

LOL. I guess I should have taken a look at the picture. Paint work is paint work; however, anytime I see something like that it makes me wonder if something else didn't happen to the car that brought on the urge to mess with perfection.

We should all thank you for taking the time to post these numbers.

I just traded in my 2004 for a 2010 560-4 Lambo. The trade in value was $95k. I had good luck with my 2004. A wonderful car.

I am not sure if this is indicative with a trade in on a new car. I also think prices depend on areas of the country, at least in part.

Congrats to you and may you enjoy it safely

I think some people paint them like that to resemble the SE model.
