I was in KL for 4.5years... my wife and I drove our Spore plate cars all over the city... no problems. I think the key is to know where to go and where to park.

Yes, Lung. Many more years to get the orientation right over here but the peak hour jam+rain can be killer. Bumper to bumper for that long is not funny that's why I refuse to go in or leave the city centre @ certain time. Ok, time for dinner now. Good night bros.
Well, those Gullwing doors and that fantastic NA 6.2L V8 kinda justifies its price tag. At least, it's much cheaper than the SLR if you look at it that way..
And you'd be paying Lambo and Ferrari flagship model kinda money for a MERCEDES. And one that doesn't even look good to boot. Gullwing doors look nice on the SLR, but the SLS looks horrid. I'm with MP on this one.
For this situation, make it two converts..I mean, sure its cheaper than an SLR, but IF I could afford it in the first place, might as well get a car that has McLaren genes, however little it might be, rather than a full fledged Merc with an AMG badge to its name..not that I'm anti Merc, but I think their timing was off, with the MP4-12C and 458 coming out about the same time..LOL
