Nice goodies Gary! So you choose the P4000.. No success with the Pirelli repros from England? Philippe 7987 www.lamborghinimiura.com
Hey Philippe Hope you are well. After numerous calls to Tom over in jolly ol England he could not give me a firm date on the Cinturato HS72 repops. Originally they said Sept 09 but now he indicated they can't promise any dates. So since I needed tyres and rather than spend large on XWXs the "wrong" vintage tyre, Bob suggested this route. Tire rack has only a few of these left with small lettering and if you study the side wall carefully (radial lines, block pirelli lettering, and logo lettering) and then compare to original tyre it bears a passing resemblance to the original cinturato ! Of course the modern tread pattern is way off but overall these look pretty good. And its a modern proven radial tyre. As for the color Rosso Barchetta its called many things in the ferrari chart and its Also real close to Rosso Alfa of the 350GT color wheel. Its actually a ferrari color # I had in a bottle on my shelf since 1985 which i rec'd from a gent with a 400 superamerica orginally done in this color.I Had my painter mix it up and once I saw the spray out it was love all over again . Sorry purisits but I own it Gary 8394 Ps. thanks for the door handle shots i got it figured out thanks to you and all on VLG
By the way Espada dudes there is a rear suspension bumper located at the top of the wheel well attached to a frame member in back to take a hit when you bottom out the A armof the rear suspension . Kinda looks like the end of a penis . Not that ive studied that too much... Not that theres anything wrong with that ..... however does anyone know if its screws in or is it a push in type . Gotta get one and my car is far away right now .... Gary 8394
Joe read up a bit i admitted i am broke now LOL so i wont be taking my car all the way from Toronto to California . And since there are only a hand full of vintage lambos up here in the frozen tundra ill tell them its not only original color but original paint and when they ask the model i will tell them proudly its and "ALFUNZO DE CRADENZA"! gary 8394
Espada dudes ; Thanks to all for the names ! I started correspondence with the factory in june and got this the other day. Gary 8394 Image Unavailable, Please Login

can someone post a good pick of a complete Series 2 (with knock offs ) tool kit. P.S. I am I the only Espada owner left in the world that routinely talks and asks for advice on this thread . Are you guys all finished and done with your cars or have you forgotten about them and they are currently collecting dust in your garage somewhere . We are enthusiasts ! Step up and act like one ! I expect at least 10 posts before i post again! I know ... he needs to get laid ................. but seriously lets post !!!! I am tired of reading about joe sackey fighting with some dude over a countach. Lets unite espada dudes and fight about espadas! lets argue the merits! of 4 seats bla bla frikkiin bla . Im doing all the work here men! Where are the restored suspension shots ! !he restored engine shots, the correct close ups of seat perforations and the conversations with the only guy in north america who does that? Who is that guy by the way and where is that guy. Valentino chime in here if ya wish. gary ( suffering from driving withdrawl) 8394

Gary I think most of the Espada guys are over on VLG, as you have probably guessed by now - be nice to see them post over here too. Couple of nice pictures of an S1 put up this afternoon.. John
God that has an awful green look to it. I think post #964 above might be more accurate? Lighting and cameras can play tricks. Gary, The Espada thread IS rather quiet but then so is the Jarama thread. On Fchat, except for some Miura traffic, more Countach' it's mostly a ton on the new cars. It was busier in this thread at first which was before you arrived here I think? What's needed is someone like Marc from the Khamsin thread. I think he sleeps with a toy Khamsin under his pillow ... He's also writing a big book about Maserati and the Citroen years. I'm not sure how many Espada owners are watching this thread? Probably less than 10? I don't for a minute believe that all the Espadas are finshised with maintainence. Only when they're parted out ... When it comes to automobiles it's the mobius strip of maintenance. One never finishes I think. So anything new with your project? Was the Lambostuff gas caps lead a dead end? Bob S.
