You think the speed slowing down is bad when it gets wet? My gripe is that drivers can't seem to take gentle bends at expressway speeds. Notice how traffic bunches up whenever the expressway has any turns esp PIE towards Jurong just before joining the CTE.
I can scarely believe that drivers actually brake for absolutely no reason when going straight, so I think braking along a gentle bend is probably a foregone conclusion. That being said, when I attempted to take what I thought was a gentle bend at expressway speeds in my mom's Estima, there was so much unexpected body roll that I thought I might flip the car for a terrified second.
Daniel, I have a set of Cusco bracing to counter that issue. Took it off my 07 Estima when I sold it. Interested?
Actually, it think shouldn't be too much of an issue but of course it's my thoughts. I guess it's in the money. The 458 is being sold for a premium of 30K pounds+/- now. I'm sure they can find or already have a local dealer to go over & buy a few brand new cars, pay the premium & ship it over. In this case, cars were indeed sold within UK so technically the AD did not violate the ruling. They might even register the car for UK first? Three issues now are, that car price has gone through the roof. COE went up "a little" & then not much diff between Ital auto price from theirs but the nail is the warranty as well. As a business POV, not much margin other than to massage paperwork. In any case, production for RHD is not out yet? So, we'll see the situation by 3/4 of 2010.
Yeah now that u mention it, I have encountered this situation many times. It can be really frustrating at times..
Well I think those who are willng to spend this kind of money on a AMG most probably have one or more other exotics in their stable and they're just looking for something to spend their cash on..
