Any Singapore Ferrari owners?

I thought Estima had really low CG? It just looks tall...but the base is pretty heavy.

Well if the car was sold and registered in the UK and then reexported wouldn't that be classified as a Used Import in Singapore and therefore not considered new?
The issue I think is that the UK AD are not allowed to export the cars and therefore will have to register them locally. i.e. it has to be a domestic sale. They have been warned by Ferrari.

Correct Jon, the first RHD car will only start production in May which means if we are lucky the car will be in Singapore sometime in late june or July.

I have checked with Ital...they still holding their price for now.

The price is quoted at 920k including coe. so i guess they will have to honor those of us who have placed a deposit.

 

I think a used import will be very interesting. Something with just 'delivery' miles & definitely correct for lower OMV which undercuts local AD price by at least S$100K to tempt buyers.

Well, as for my thought earlier. Yes, they've been warned but they did sell it to a local buyer & how the buyer wants to keep or export it is his issue, afterall he did pay a good premium & cash! So, the AD has their hands clean. I'm sure this is an old practise.

Lung, u've driven the 458, how do you rate it against your Scud? Is it worth the diff in price? What are the "yes! I love this" & "hmm maybe this can be improved"?

 

Yes thats correct. BUT! They can still change the prices of the options. So unless you spec and sign off on the whole car the price may still fluctuate.

BTW the golf we discussed yesterday will probably happen later this year.

 

I don't think customs that blur... a car this new will not be allowed in as a used import with a super low OMV. Coupled with the fact that a sterling pound 30k premium I don't think the pricing can be competitive anymore.

I have not driven the 458 only the California so cannot compare. You must Mike's uncle Melvin to comment.

 

they have released the option price list i don't think they want to upset their customers by pulling a stunt like that. If i were them, for all new deposits, they should indicate Coe included with max bid at xxx.

Glad to hear about the golf day. should start to check which clubs FOCS members belong to. Most should be members at SICC or TMCC. This will lower the cost of hosting it.
