    Back during the 'easy' years (no kids, etc.) my wife actually suggested we do this. Journal every moment from arrival and so on, and I thought it would be funny to see how far she could talk her way into the inner ring at each track. Wouldn't work so well these days, though.

    ha! i was going to do that as well. decided most of the races are snorefests and it wasn't worth the travel headache.

    awesome idea though.

    Thanks for posting this. I have sold my wife on doing this when our kids are older. I think it's a great way to travel the world while enjoying my favourite sport. I'm really interested in some of the basic logistical challenges this endeavour poses, so I hope he writes about it all.

    I'm curious about the logistics/schedule as well. I'm going to send him a note to try and meet him in Montreal this year. This is a serious bucket list item....

    awesome you found this! Two questions; did you book everything in advance? Hotels flights tickets etc? Also - do you own a warehouse for all of he memorabilia you will receive?

    legend! This is also on my bucket list.
    You're in a unique position to compare each grand prix experience.
    If you think it's appropriate (and you've got time between races), could you post about:
    The logistics, i.e. arranging flights, accommodation, tickets, etc.
    The infrastructure (getting to/from the track) and atmosphere in each city/track?
    Favourite restaurants, clubs and must-see places in each city?

    Looking forward to your updates as the season progresses!
