For once, the coupe costs more but roadster came later & has improvements. To be honest, I don't know the current market as it has gone up a lot. It's probably about US$300-500K now. A good kienle restored car can fetch 50% extra. It is possible to buy then register this in Malaysia.

Heard at least 9 companies put in bids to represent Mclearn. I registered my interest and they have been updating me with info. They will launch both RHD and LHD at the same time and it is expected to be early 2011. Heard that they should be appointing the Spore dealer soon.
I have seen a 300 cab restored by this company in a mercedes showroom in Munich 3 years ago. The car was in concourse condition. This company does a fantastic job. If you are looking for a company to restore a 300sl, this is it.
not that i can afford it but when you can get one of these beauties in pristine condition, i think the price becomes irrelevant! truly timeless classics...
