Just got the new R&T and saw an intering sketch of the possible F70 V8 twin turbo Seems much inspired by Jim's P4/5 and a succesor to the F40, Nice combo
This is all I found on their website (don't think this is it): Sports Cars of the Future: 2012 Ferrari F70 - Car News - Road and Track All the best, Andrew. Image Unavailable, Please Login
That's probably the roof line they borrowed for the rendition. I doubt it'll look anything like that, it was released 15th march, so if the sketch is in the new R&T then it'll undoubtedly be different. I am curious to see what the F70 looks like... the F60 is aesthetically very imposing and impressive (as Mike once put it "almost frightening to behold" - or something similar), but it's not a pretty car. I wonder if it'll be a more organic/smooth shape rather than a mean/aggressive design. All the best, Andrew.
Yes thats it. Just a sketch of course who knows what it will really be like Although I think when they say it could cost $1M new, thats probably the most accurate news
Oh God...I hope it doesn't look like that when they put it into production. I'm sorry, but that looks hideous! Thanks for the pic though. -G.B.
I'm certain some aspects will change just like every other automotive concept rendition compared to the actuall production car, don't fret just yet!
LOL! I was thinking the same thing before I saw your post! Concept, sketch, or whatever -that has to be the worst looking front end I've ever seen on a supercar/exotic/sportscar ever! Actually I take that back. Worst looking front end on ANY car ever!!

I'm not a fan of V8 turobo but if this car will weight around 1000 kilos who cares, with 670 hp It will be faster on racetrack than Gumert Apollo with 1100 kilos and 700 hp.
Lets not fool ourselves that rendering is very visually challenging, high unlikely the end product will look like that.
Beautiful shot of her Jim. And you know the design of P4/5 will stand the test of time with flying colors.
^ What he said. There's no comparison between the P4/5 and the F70 sketch - one is a thing of beauty and the other is just an incoherent pretender. All the best, Andrew.
The fenders are very P4/5. The grille looks like something off a spacecraft. Seems to have a SuperAmerica flipping roof
