Guys, I might be going to Mille Miglia next month & I'll be renting a car to cover the event. Anyone wants to join or any tips about moving around & dining in Milan & Rome? Will be stopping by Bologna, Modena etc so may steal some time to visit Pagani (need to pray for this!)
All the best Jon! Terribly jealous though, a visit to the Pagani factory! EDIT: What do you plan to rent?
yeh I bought a cheapish one a while ago from autobacs but it was rubbish. I've actually been thinking about ordering one of these http://www.coverking.com/customcarcovers_materials.html (Stormproof or Autobody Amor) it's a lot of $$ for a car cover .. but then it isn't a lot when you think of what it's covering
Rome is pretty easy. I'm not too sure bout driving but the subway is pretty convenient. Traffic can be troublesome coz there's always lotsa tourists out and about. I was there last year and stopped by Venice too! Have fun!
that sounds like a great trip .. v jealous do I look like I'm made of money? gee you are predictable .. i cud write your script
I'm undecided abt this. It's just 3 weeks away & I know nothing abt the itinerary plus planning is not my forte I'm the kind who just pick up the bag & go. Was thinking if I should rent a modern 911 or stick to local Fiat stuffs.
Like you, I'll probably have to see to believe. Although I have a sneaking suspicion you guys are not as large as you make yourselves up to be!
Cannot help you on Rome I have only been to Rome for 24 hrs... went to watch a football game and came home.
That's a fine "investment" but what I hate abt em is when they get dirty & soil yourself plus they are always impossible to go back to the orig packing! But please take care of the softop, hate it when bird uses it Don't bro & I'm inviting anyone who wants to go for this adventure together. We can also book Ferrari, Maserati, Ducati & Lambo factory tours too. It's probably my 1st holiday in 3 yrs!
