You are getting low on paper towels? The carpet needs a quick cleaning, but I don't see any oil spots that are normally found under these cars.
Three jack stands it is. That is one rigid car and very impressive. Carpet was temporary for the major service, nicer than sliding around on the concrete.
I've heard that if you are daring you can do two jack stands at opposite corners but have to get the right spots for proper balance.
What were you expecting, that the car would droop and the other front wheel would stay on the ground? What makes it impressive is when the doors open and close without any change in their operation. Most older cars have a little issue in this area. I've done the carpet. It is nicer on your butt, but when you drop a nut you don't get to hear it hit the ground and is harder to track where it went.
The 3x8GTS is flexy without the top, so by having it on 3 jack stand like this, would you have a chance to crack the front windshield? When I jacked up my Ferrari to put on the stands, I used 2 small jacks to get both side up at the same time. I would never get under that Ferrari with only 3 jack stands like that.
This was when I was taking it off the stands, I wouldn't get under it either. This is actually a Mondial. So I was impressed with how rigid it was.
The 3x8s & Mondials are indeed surprisingy rigid. I've got an assymetric lift. My GTS doesn't always put weight on one of the rear lift arms that can get slightly out of synch & sag down about 1/2" more than the other arm.
Guilty on greasy cheese grater. That is one thing I tend to clean right before I grate cheese again. It isn't usually seen except by me when I'm removing it. I've also noticed that the paint is letting go on the upper side. It will require a bit of attention one of these days. But first the texture on the lower panels is starting to flake off and is faded, that will be cleaned up first. Oh yeah, also the rock chips on the nose, and that pesky side lower bolster on the seat and a few other things.
