    Just today every time I open fchat I have to log in again. the "remember me" box is checked.

    This has never happened before, and nothing has been changed on my computer.

    All other sites work normally, they remember me.

    What gives?

    Clear your cookies, sign back in and problem should go away. There was some site maintenance last night and a few people have had the same issue.

    same here, that's a pain having to re-enter password every time I open the window :(

    I am having the same problem on my AOL DESKTOP . I am now in int explor. and so far it worked but I will need to see if I can open more areas.

    +1 And your cached files too. Close out all instances of the browser, re-open and sign back in. That ought to do it.

    Cleared everything, cookies, cache, back to normal now.

    Actually, Rob installed a special feature that "non-memorable" posters won't be
    remembered.....

    Just kidding... do as others have said and clear the cookies - problem should be solved.
    Of course, ANY and ALL sites you have stored will reset as well... :(

    OK got it so the question is "why did we have to do this to be able to stay logged on."

    So, Rob upgraded from simple sugar cookies to rich and chewy Tollhouse cookies with walnuts and raisins, and now I have to sign in one time and set the "remember me" check box!

    Mmmm, Cookies. Send me a dozen, please. But don't forget the walnuts!!

    I am having the same troubles, even after cleaning out cookies, clearing out internet files, resetting IE settings to default.

    Even switching from a logged in brouser to another non-logged in brouser ends up needing to be re-logged in. Any power down and back up required re-logging in (including sleep).

    This did not happen from years ago through 2 days ago
