I am considering producing the 328 (308?) antenna top nut. It will be made out of 7075 aluminum alloy and anodized black. The final price will be dependent on the number produced, but initial indications are about $40 each, plus shipping.

So how many of you are interested?

If the cost is about $40, I would get one, just to have a really good one for showing the car.

I am proceeding with this project, the finished nuts will be available in about 30 days. I will post a photo and final pricing at the time.

Contact Verell on this board, he runs Unobtainium Supply. Here is a photo of his parts.

Also, for the nut I will be using the USPS Flat Rate Small Box for shipping in the US at $4.95. So the total for the nut and US shipping will be $38.70 - such a deal!

Yep, very pleased how they came out. What is also interesting is how much lighter the new nut is vs the original. That 7075 aluminum alloy is amazing.

Me too! Verrell was supposed to make me the black escutcheon and gasket but so far not received! I'm going to show it a the BaT reunion tomorrow with a carriage bolt holding the antenna. Boo hoo.
