Its see car, love car, check money tree,ok than buy car. most on this forum has an adequate money tree sometimes factors like wife or like the car but not really love.
err... i got no money tree but i still do impulse buys... my 996tt, GT3 and my evo were all purchased during lunch time and after just one viewing (and always without the wife's knowledge). Talk about stupid.... I am still paying.... and hence the reason I do not drive a bentley today...
I think you'll need to hook up with a current generation ECU, injectors etc. An entire new set of management system & while you're there, might as well do some porting, cam profiles oh boy. Slippery road
Well, this is embarrassing. How could the factory display & tag a converted car. So are we buying what we ordered!
Want to race? Got to put Derek in your passenger seat please I'm hoping to find a slot to run mine up north & see how well it performance. Btw, where do u guys go for Dyno here? On my turbo, power hike was claimed @ 10% which is decent but like Leang says it's thicker @ lower end & all the way up. It's smoother now & turbo-lag is reduced but still noticeable esp on auto when it's on a higher gear. Kickdown response improved as well. Overall, I feel it's money well spent on a stock car with just BMC air filter changed. IMHO, the factory should have the 997turbo tiptronic tuned for this set-up.
cavalino is the one opp the factory gates with a lot of ferrari paraphernalia, but the staff all seem to recommend montana, which is a short drive away
Mate, you should have just done a run before and after using a racelogic pbox. would have quantified everything to ensure you are getting what you paid for....
Jon, Im glad that you are enjoying your 997TT much more now! Seriously, you should do the full package upgrade! You will be amaze! Moreover the high power will still be very usable with good delivery! You are right, all the owners who have done it are very satisfied and are either sending in their other cars or asking their friends to do the upgrade.
Hi, the F355 can be tune! If I remember correctly, they even have the program for the 348, Testa, 456, etc.
Jon, what you said is right! Basically, no 2 cars engines are build identically but the factory uses the same general program which is rather conservative for the whole production therefore some are more powerful and some make lesser power.
