For those of you with rolled rear fender on a F430, is the whole fender rolled or just the top portion? Anything to be aware of other that the typical paint heating so it doesn't crack, using the right tools, etc?

    Thanks!

For 430 Challenge the whole fender is rolled. So in case of minor hit, tires won't be cut. If you're just doing this on your street going 430 to clear wider than stock tires, then probably OK to do lip section between 10 and 2 o'clock.

I'll double check when I get home, but I think the front fenders on my F430 came rolled from the factory.

I checked b/c I did have the fenders on my 360 rolled when I put 19" wheels/tires on the car.

I run a 345/30R19 Hoosier that is the widest tire available, no need to roll the fenders unless you go with aggressive offset wheels.

However, I recommend the rear fenders to be rolled, because the factory makes them with a 90 degrees lip that is dangerous. Just do the upper arc.

Wolfgand from Novitec told me not to roll rear fenders and cut them a little with s Dremmel disc and that's what I did when I had Jim Gainer wheels that had very aggressive ET and the paint was perfect after.

Also the rear fenders have 2 metal layers so if you roll they can separate, after the Dremmel we used sand paper to make a perfect line again...

I know it sounds crazy but it worked very good for me ....

Wow... I'd love to see a picture of this set up from the side and back. That's a big slab 'o rubber there.
