Hi I'm new to this site and it looks like a great resource. I just moved to the D.C. area with a Mondial and need advice on where to take it for service - belts, ABS lights on, etc... Don't know anything about Ferrari of Wash. or any other shops in the area - thank you.

Hey Welcome to the area! I had my car serviced at FOW as they are literally right down the road from where I live, good service so far. Everyone here swears by Compitizone up in Bethesda though. They are a board sponsor and have great reviews. I'll try them here shortly too.

Also, once you get your baby spruced up there's a good outing every Saturday morning in Great Falls Va for cars and coffee.

We would love to work with you if you would like to come by the shop. Peterson is a great advisor and extremely knowledgeable on the Ferrari side, we have excellent technicians with all the current factory training and a great environment with a nice waiting area and wifi if you are staying for a bit. Please let us know if we can be any help over here at Ferrari of Washington. The guys at Competizione are good guys from my understanding and do great work also, although I am obviously biased;-)

Welcome to the area, hope to see you around the store!!! Don't hesitate to contact us with any needs at 703-478-3606.

    Best,

    Chris Constantin

Competizione hands down, as nowhere else in the area comes close. Not only are the guys all factory trained, they have experience and true knowledge on classic as well as current production cars. They also have a few things that the run-of-the-mill corporate wrench turners lack: personality; sincere interest in their customers; and true PASSIONE ! These are real deal car guys who live and breathe their craft, not clock punching 9-5'ers.

When Richard and Fernando were at FoW, I trusted them with my 355. Once they left and set up Competizione, that's where I started taking my car. When I got my 430 and wanted to upgrade to Brembo GT brakes for the track and was going out of town for a couple of weeks just prior to the track event, I didn't have the time to do the install myself, so I simply left the car with Richard and Fernando and knew they would take care of me....and they did, including sending me e-mail status updates with pictures of the installation and working with my brake pad guy (Paul Weston of Weston Motorsports....been using him for 10+ years and will go nowhere else for pads and replacement brake parts) when we had a problem. These guys are extremely knowledgeable, very customer oriented, and just great to work with. Their shop is spotless and always has some rather interesting cars in for service....I feel very pedestrian taking my 430 there. And their rates are very reasonable...just ask them and then compare it to dealers or other independent shops.

I can't say enough about the level of service these guys provide. The best compliment I can give them is simply this.....I trust them.

As long as I own Ferrari automobiles, and live in this part of the country, they will get my business.

Please stay away from Competizione for the next 30 days or so. I want them to stay focused on getting my 308 ready for the summer so they are too busy to help you right now:)
