    I was watching the F430 review on Top Gear and they did a bit about optional extras, and it appears to me that they're making 90% of their profit on the extras.

    I mean, two hundred odd quid for different coloured stitching on the seats? That's blatant daylight robbery (In my honest opinion)!

    Yes, its relatively peanuts relative to the car itself but in absolute terms its still very very expensive for, as how Jeremy puts it, "little bits of cotton".

    How mad can the extras on the list be? Anyone willing to share?

    Good question... I don't know. I did put a set of Larini exhaust before selling it though... it did improve the sound.

    thats ok if its when the shops are open... I guess since you don't carry a spare it makes no difference

    Yes you do. My 997TT was reprogramed 3 times after each stage of upgrades.

    My 2 cars that I did the ECU tuning on are both NA and the improvements are definately significant!

    You just got to try it personally! :)

    Anyway, our cars got no spare tyre so towing to tyre shop may be the only option or just call the 24hours hotline.

    The buffer of a full year use before the paper depre is definately good!

    Jon ex Murcie was also very interesting to have when he sold it as it was an manual 05 model with some upgrades but unfortunately it was just a few weeks away from the paper depre.
