Who has ordered a GTO?

Out of curiosity, how many people on FChat have ordered one? Would be interesting to see how many of the '599' we will have here.

I know my dealer has 3 allocations, so that's consistent with reports of the US getting 100. My dealer head doesn't yet know when we'll get the first of those 3, but they're all 2010 allocations.

 

Did my pre-order 10 days after the Frankfurt Motor show in September. Speccing the car on the 15th at the Atelier

 

Was asked by dealer (USA) if I wanted a car, no timeframe was presented to spec a car but they said the list including why I should get one, bio and car history (ridiculous) needs to be sent to FNA for approval.

 

I have an order in, and will be in Maranello next week.

 

Ok I cannot edit my original post for some reason. My father and I have our pre-order in; not sure when speccing is but planning on visiting Atelier.

Extremely jealous of the people who are going to Italy on the 15th - please keep us updated!

 

Pre-ordered mine early Nov.09. My dealer is putting my bio together for FNA as we speak.

 

I'll be at the premier event the evening of the 14th, Atelier presentation/tour afternoon of 15th. Hope to see you there...Sent particulars via dealer to FNA approx 2 months ago. Recently told to expect production date in Nov/Dec with final specs for car required by mid summer.

- Fully configured in Maranello @ Atelier mid March 2010.
- Expected delivery June/July 2010.

 

i ordered it today they are paying for my accomadation in china next week to see it in the flesh at the show

 

I have a slot, might confirm in the next 2 weeks. I am a 612 fan/owner and it would be a big change for me. Delivery would be early next year. So am waiting to see final pricing and also what is happening with the 612 replacement.....the GTO is just amazing from what I have seen so far.

Its been a while since I have been impressed with such a cars styling, performance and overall tech. Only downside is 599 will probably be replaced as well so GTO is almost the farewell.

Stunning car either way.

 

Shame. I was mean to go with my father but it's too far for me to fly from London for a weekend. Sad that I cannot go with him

 

I'd be curious to know what color combination you have chosen.Is it something you agree to share or do you want to keep it secret ?

 

- Rosso Corsa in combination with a Silverstone Grey Matt roof.
- Full CF (everything I could get in CF) but the side panels painted in Rosso Corsa.
- Black rims in combination with black brake callipers and CF centre caps for the rims.
- Little black prancing horse on the fuel tank lid.
- CF engine cover / bay.
- Interior in Charcoal - combination of alcantara and technical fabric. No leather.
- No radio.
- CF Racing seats Large. Grey technical fabric on centre and alcantara on the sides.
- 4 point safety belts in red.
- Special contrast stitching in red.
- Lower crown of steering wheel in alcantara charcoal
- Roll bar in alcantara charcoal.
- Red rev counter.
- Alcantara headliner in charcoal.
- lower central console + lower dash in alcantara charcoal.
- Upper dash in technical fabric.

Very nice choice. Concerning the option "CF engine cover / bay" ... What is it ?? is it the same option you can find on the GTB (CF engine bay) ??

and what do you mean by CF engine cover ? is it a CF airbox like on the XX ???
