Funny, I also just found one at a local grocery store and grabbed it.
    Are these hard to find?

Then you all are getting robbed! I have been finding them everywhere here. I think I have picked up more than 20 or so.

I've seen a bunch of the yellow challenge cars... what I haven't seen are any of the red scuderia... it's starting to piss me off.

Oops, what I meant was that I picked one up a long time ago. I've seen lots of them on the shelves though.

I see tons of yellow Challenge cars at the local Fred Meyer's, been looking for the red Scud for quite some time now. Thought I would have found one at the shop I just bought all my new HW cars from but no luck out of 1000+ HW cars

I will never see that green Reventon here in Hawaii. Not in a million years. I still haven't seen the orange Saleen S7, let alone a green Reventon. I'm still constantly looking for the Red Scuderia, Yellow 370Z, Phil's Garage 288 GTO! It's ok as long as I have 40 more years to live I'm pretty sure I'll see them hanging on the shelf somewhere one of these years. I GAVE UP! Our Toys R Us here in Hawaii are giving me the run around. They say, " Oh come check us out this weekend we have a shipment coming. Yeah! Shipment my a$$, that was in the beginning of March 2010. I checked the store at least twice a week after that and it's always the same ugly a$$ Hotwheels on the shelf.

Just recently I've noticed Wally World getting a bunch of the 370Z's, it's where I found the one I have. I'm sure I'll never find the Phil's GTO anywhere but online unfortunately

I went to Wally's today and found 3 Red Scuds. I thought they were long gone. Someone either returned them, or they were found buried somehwere.

Me either. That's not to bad.

You need someone to send you some cars????

Always looking for the Phil's 288 GTO. Been finding new stuff but no 288s. I starting to get frustrated with trying to find 1.

Holy Crap! Just went to Target to pick up a couple things. Went to the HW's and found 1 288 GTO. I almost choked.

I've been out of the Hot Wheels loop for a while now. I had to pick up some stuff at Target tonight and took a stroll through the Hot Wheels isle. To my complete surprise, I found 3 of the Phil's Garage Ferrari 288 GTO sitting at the front of the top peg, all behind each other! I grabbed them so fast. I know nothing about them aside from hearing you guys talk about them on here. Cool looking casting! Guess I was lucky tonight :)

I'm very jealous. I envy all you guys who found the 288 GTO @ your Target store. All I ever need is just 1. I will be very happy with just 1. I went to two of our Target stores here in Hawaii and they got nothing new for the last three and a half weeks. I asked the voodoo Gods before I entered the two Targets to just at least 1 new Hotwheels car. They don't even have the yellow 370Z yet. They got some very old and weird Hotwheels cars that is been there since the beginning of January. They don't sell at all.
I've been searching for the Red Scuderia too. No luck! You folks have been blessed with good stuff so you should feel good about yourselves. I'm very happy for you guys!!

I really have no clue about this Phil's Garage 288 GTO, aside from hearing about you guys finding them and looking for them. I just happened to stumble down the isle and found them all sitting behind each other on the end of the peg. I was excited none the less, but not sure what the reason for them being hard to find would be. I'm sorry to hear about your dilema in Hawaii. Let me know if theres ever a certain car you're looking for. My shelves are always pretty stocked in Michigan, although I don't really buy unless it's something I really want or like.

The GTO either comes as a chase or non chase, and seems to be one of the harder to find signed cars in the entire garage series.
Here is what to look for.. The white initials under the car.
