Oh very nice. White is sometimes so hot it's scorching! I just saw a classic XJ in resplendant pearl white with chrome bits. Beautiful, but I think the 458 lines does well in solid racing white.
Tim, I believe that spider is from the guy who bought my 964! Q plate is rather troublesome, u'd need to have a resolution signed by directors to sell it & rd tax is 100% more than usual. But it's a company asset so u can write off depreciation like your fax machines Not sure if this is what u were thinking but all these years, you could've just gotten yourself a dealer trade plate Hahaha Hmmm, Tim just confirmed this!
Yeah boy. Renault had a 10million insurance when their car came here for a 1 day promotion in 08, not sure if that's in Euro!? However, we can always buy an 80s for much price. Damn, I just fell off my chair looking @ those!
If you do opt for white, will u go for Fuji Bianco? It's kinda pricey for a paint job..and have to wait even longer when you already can't wait to get your hands on one!
Agreed..640 tailights look WAY better then the old ones.. Jon, here's an Alfa Spider if you're interested.. http://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/info.php?ID=88711&DL=1059
Isn't nice to know that there are a few top notch guys like Derek around? My flip up headlight car bra cover flew off its velcro latch and Mr GTR, Max Ong, slammed on his brakes just to pick it up while we were doing 270. What can I say about these guys? Truly top notch! Not to mention Derek again and that M'sian incident! Now my headlamp covers are sewed down permanently to permit high speed driving, I think tough to do that with your cap!
There was just a concours here in Melbourne yesterday. Lots of lovely classic cars turned up for the event even though it rained. I think all the classic car lovers here would have loved it! I've noticed that there's actually a surprisingly large number of classic cars and other modern exotics in Singapore, so why is it that we don't have a similar event? All we seem to have are vulgar japanese ricer exhibitions.

Thanks Dan, for these great shots. What a way to start the week! Could that F40 be driven on Aussie streets just for this event? I think they have pretty strict rules on LHD cars right?
In any topless car, it will be a typhoon at speeds above 180. Even my touch and go card must be secured.
I'm not too sure about the rules, but I see at least one LHD car driven on the streets every time I get out of my house. I was given to believe that an LHD car had to be at least 30 years old before it could legally be driven on the roads, but I'm damn sure some of these cars I've seen were definitely less than 5 years old. I do not think the F40 was driven out on some special permit just for this event, I've actually seen it at a popular restaurant next to my house a couple times. Unless that special permit is easy to obtain and that the owner uses it quite liberally of course.
Understand that they still haven't raised the capital required for production to commence and that it is CSFB that is organising that. Any delays in production that you are aware of?
