    I would love to visit Mr Henn collection. Is it open to the public?

    Any other car spots that i should visit ? (i havent been to Florida since 2002)

    Yup.. Henn's collection is there and open to the public in beautiful Lauderhill Fla. Dont forget to check out some of the great sights in the nearby neighborhoods.. Just drive fast....

    Oh.. and every Friday (I think) Tower Shops in Davie has a drive in car meet. There is also a car show in Weston this Sunday.

    Sunrise Blvd, west. I believe between I-95 and the Florida Turnpike, north side of the road. There is always something interesting vintage at Tim Stanford's, also Ft. Lauderdale east of I-95 off of SR 84.

    Ferrari of FL can have some great cars on the floor.

    For me it is freezing until July. You are from up north Andrew, you will think it is a sauna. Hope to see you. I return April 26, then I go back to Texas May 1.

    Ron, we should be there from 27 to 3rd of may.

    I dont know if i should book a hotel in Miami or Fort Lauderdale. I know its just 30 miles..but which one is the best to stay at if we want to walk around without taking a car/cab? Miami ?

    Last time i was in Miami i stayed in Coconut Grove and i loved it. Lots of small restaurants by the hotel.

    Other than the Swap Shot and Tim Stanford's, where should i go for car spotting?

    Is Prestige Import still around? The Toy Store?

    I need to be organized if i want to squeeze some car spotting otherwise my wife will be pissed :D

    New stuff can be seen at the valet lot at Bal Harbour Shops. I saw 2 or 3 16Ms there in one day.

    There were 2 Daytonas at Prestige in Fort Lauderdale recently, along with a couple of Countachs. The Toy Store on Sunrise was demolished. They moved north on Federal. There is another dealer on Broward between 95 and downtown.

    Andrew, if you want to walk around without a car in south Florida, in Miami, the Grove, South Beach, or Coral Gables. Night life would be best in the Grove or SB. The Gables has a Ferrari/Porsche/Aston dealership, there is a floor in their garage usually with lots of toys. Also Ayrton Senna's favorite restaurant when he came to Miami to buy R/C cars at the old Orange Blossum Hobbies is in the Gables.

    Lauderdale is tough unless you stay on Las Olas. You will need a car or a cab $$ to get around, like going to the Swap Shop or Ferrari of FL

    If you book in advance, Avis and Hertz have fantastic rates from Thursday afternoon to Monday afternoon. Like $16-$18/day.
    I will around until May 1, so after you find a place to stay let me know. There should be a few others from FChat around to catch up with you during your visit.

    We are on Collins ave, 14th street. Where should i go to see some exotics driving around other than Bal Harbour mall.


    THe collection inventory isnt that great atm..

    Go to Ocean drive between 5th and say 10th St. You can walk there from where you stay.
    Also Washington Ave between 5th and Lincoln Rd. has its share.
