We'll be having a benefit fundraiser at the event on Saturday in conjunction with POSA (Police Officers of Scottsdale Association) for Scottsdale PD Detective Jim Powers and his family, Jim is a 10 year verteran of the Scottsdale Police Department and is the sole means of support for the family. Jim suffered a stroke that has left him paralyzed on the right side of his body. He is just at the beginning of his rehabilitation and the long term prognosis is unknown.

Great turnout! It was nice to see everyone as usual. Excuse my ignorance, can someone explain the newer Ferrari that I believe was badged with a Zagato "Z".

I missed the Saleen, how, I was there at 8:40ish to 10:40? Was that there before or after I left, looks like it was there later :D

The Zagato that was there was the 550 GTZ Barchetta, it was based off the 550 Barchetta and they made 5 of them.

    Here's my shot of it.

Definitely a bad one to miss. The quantity and, more importantly, quality of cars that show up every month never ceases to amaze me. Seems like there's at least two or three really special cars showing up for the first time in recent months. Thanks for the photos, everyone.

Speaking of which, if anyone knows the owner of the 550 GTZ and might be able to pass along my info or put me in touch with them, please contact me.

Pat, I bumped the 550GTZ thread, and this is what another member posted:

    Hope that helps! :)

Our gatherings are smaller as the summer heat descends upon us. Many of the cars that come out to play in the fall and winter are owned by seasonal resident (aka Snowbirds). That said, the hard core locals are always out on Saturday mornings!

Always interesting to see what people do and don't take photos of. First shots I've seen of the Ultima (looks great) and no shots of the 550 GTZ. Really nice photos, though, Jameson. Thanks for sharing. :)
