I don't get it. It sounds as if Ferrari's official stand towards warranties is to find every possible way not to honour them. Isn't this horrible from a customer service point of view? I think it's completely unacceptable that they can treat us like that considering we spend so much money on the car! In contrast, the Mazda dealership here in Melbourne has actually stated that they will still honour my warranty on all other parts even if I modify one part of the car.
I think it is not right for Ferrari to void the warranty when you put on new wheels, body kits and exhaust. I read some where that in the EU, they have to honor the warranty provided the items fitted passed EU safety standards. That i think is a fair and realistic approach as some owners like to personalize their cars.
So why is the factory's stance different in different regions? We seem to be getting the short end of the stick here. My first guess was that the EU might have certain laws in place that prevent companies from shafting their customers like that.
i found a real easy way ... btw, it works flawlessly on my crackberry ... dunno abt the jesus fone tho ... - use google sync to sync with yr online gmail account; contacts & calendar ... - use sync with apple mail program to sync with gmail ... now there is a FULL copy on the fone, mail app on computer & gmail ... make a SINGLE change, & the other two get automatically updated ... how kewl is that ???
What I meant was that they probably had to uphold warranties within the EU because the regions within the EU had laws that prevented Ferrari from voiding your warranty because a mosquito landed on it. Unfortunately, Singapore might not have such laws
Oh! I don't have an iphone though, even though I'm very tempted to get one so I can post as much as all the grandmasters here. My old phone didn't even have colour and couldn't do anything but message and call people. Now at least I have a camera
Wow man this thread has almost 60k posts in it! And almost 2/3s of them were made during the last year and this year.
