The creator/editor/narrator is a fellow F-Chatter, so of course we've seen this before. Great stuff, though - worth a million reposts imo.

    haha, I agree

    the part

"...the cars doing what they were intended to do at some point, which is causing problems for other people"

always makes me break out a smile.

I had a silver 330 at that time and have always wondered if that "incidental" 330 was mine In those days I lived in the Hollywood hills, and was not above a jaunt across Mulholland Drive on occasion.

Ed, Please recant some memories of your experiences, from the "Golden Days", to give us a taste of that fine Vintage, Vintage such as an extraordinary wine, from your Vineyard.

Stephen's, memories of people and events, are without a hint of remorse, only the Love of Life, that existed in him at that time, his Youth to mellowing into Manhood, in personality and in Life's expectations. Please search and pour us your remininces of joy and life then.

    Ciao...Paolo

I'm guessing it was you, Ed, as there weren't that many 330s prowling the streets.

Paolo, thank you for your kind words.

Stephen, excuse the slight tangent, but, your Dino 206 SP story* on your blog was a comical read! You are quite the raconteur and it's a pleasure reading these gems and watching these videos.

Ed & Stephen - since you both owned the very same car, what are your personal impressions of the ownership experience and driving characteristics of the 206 SP? She looks absolutely gorgeous!

*For those who haven't read it yet http://emcpb.blogspot.com/2010/04/dino-206.html

I know that Ed enjoyed a rousing time with the Dino participating in the Virginia City Hillclimb as he did. My association with the car was limited and rather passive. In fact, I thought my involvement was the best kept secret in the world until recently when Carbon "Get-the-Serial-Number" McCoy told me I was named on the Barchetta registry.

Apart from the drama of buying the car, the real adventure was getting it back to Los Angeles on a trailer and...

Thanks for the update - CM is a man on a mission! :D

Regarding the trip back to Los Angeles, etc, will there be a part deux to look forward to?

    Cheers :)

Somewhere, probably in the archives of the FCA SW region's mag "Sempre Ferrari", is the story of my custody of 002. I'm sure someone will be able to search it out.

Thanks Ed! Now that I have a bit more to work with, I'll see if I can dig it up online and post it. If anyone else has PDF copy or hardcopy that they don't mind sharing, it would greatly be appreciated.

    Cheers!

I'm glad it got posted again since I've never seen the footage before. Magnificent! To be 19 and be in control of such an astounding car. Thanks for sharing!

Also, a larger shot of Dino 206S 002 from a previous post.

Apologies for the tangent & back to the main topic.
