Is this not a glaring display of unfairness? I'm certainly rather unfamiliar with law; but shouldn't the judge force the losing party to pay for the winning party's legal fees (although it exposes the consumer to a greater amount of risk as well)? Otherwise fighting against the factory or any other large firm seems like an exercise in futility.

mate, who wld decide whether the "mod" is legal or not? the factory cld theoretically argue that a rim change will affect air flow & is therefore unacceptable (& so voids warranty). i don't think any of us will have the technical muscle to prove them otherwise. it will only be the public ridicule that will stop them ... if at all ...

when i first started practice, i assisted in a case where LTA charged a vw beetle owner for illegal modifications on a/c of the body kit fitted n they tried to argue that the front enlarged spoiler and whale tail were dangerous in event of collision- owner engaged an automotive engineering consultant who testified owise and successfully resisted the charge after a few days in court- but there LTA has to prove its case beyond reasonable doubt - in civil case for failure to honor the warranty , probably factory has to show only on balance of probabilities that claim is exclude under the terms (and fineprint). as for costs generally the costs the losing party pays the winning party is only abt half to 2/3 what the winning party pays his lawyers

shld hv kept the phone/brick for msia drives, an excellent offensive weapon (tho a useless phone, talk about short battery life-this phone itself would be almost a backpack in itself!)

didnt realise 430s start in auto. my 360 spider didnt. scud and cs of course dont. i read in one of the threads here that for cs, all u need is to install auto button/switch n u can hv auto as the tcu actually has is built in- but if default start mode is auto then forget it. who uses auto anyway-the guy who programmed the shifts must hv been bulimic!

I don't use auto so mine always starts in F1 mode. The only time it starts in auto is if an idiot valet puts it in auto in order to drive it 10m
