Just a note to tell you all how satisfied I was with Wynns Ferraari. My 2004 575m was due for its annual checkup. When I arrived, Rich Kansky, Service Mgr., told me it was perfectly OK to sit in the service area and watch the service and ask any questions I wanted to. He actually pulled a chair out of the office and set it up right at the lift for me. I watched and asked questions the whole time... except when we all went to lunch. Learned a lot.

Kevin Taylor (only 38 years of Ferrari experience!) and his helper Robert, did the checks. I asked a lot of questions and they both took the time and never hesitated to answer all of them. They were happy to do it and wanted me to understand what they were doing.

As the work was being done, they took photos of any possible problems...like little leaks, etc., and then sprayed dusting powder on it so they could check the next time I come in. Rich said I could just come in next month and as a courtesy they would take the pan off and check the powder for any changes. They even take pictures of the oil coming out and the differential/clutch fluid coming out so you can see the color of it if you are not there. Then the photos and the explanations thereof are emailed to you as proof of their work and as a reference. I now have 20 photos as reference points.

I also now know my clutch wear (29%), brake wear (30%), T-belt ribs exam photo (OK), etc. Pretty well a PPI except for comp/leak test.

The facility itself is clean as a pin and has 7 lifts. Can service and accomodate all makes.

A very good service experience. Thanks Rich and Kevin.

    Jay

I'm lucky. I live 1.2 miles from Wynn. I get that treatment all the time. Rich and the guys do a great job. I'm sure he'll be happy to hear your post. He already knows how I feel.

    Nice bunch of guys...

I had a cyclic stick fitted as a gearshift for an old car of mine....

Cured the road rage nicely! :)

Didn't even need to bring my keys. They were good with an insurance card (about 2-3 years ago).

Great- I will take my keys. Somehow having three full sets of remotes is a real comfort, so no problem taking one out of state.

I'll be there at Wynns next week. I assume I can just flash my Ferrari Club Australia membership card to gain entry. Can I look in the workshop as well, or am I only entitled entry to the showroom. Any special person I should ask for. Cheers.

+1 on praise for Wynn. I'm usually not a fan of factory authorized service, as back in the midwest/east coast we have a lot of crap, but the guys at Wynn do a great job.

As far as access to the showroom.....with the exception of going for service, I never have a key or anything on me when I go....and I always talk my way in. It's fun :)

I have been in the car business professional for forty years and personally have been romancing Ferrari's for twenty Four. I have never seen the likes of a service facility
Like Penske Wynn Ferrari. Rich and his staff are second to none for making you feel like you are in the right place for pampering you FCar. Please have a seat next to your car as we work on it, don't have time to stay as most of us don't they will email photos of progress.
Kevin, John, Jose,Tavis and Robert are extremely talented Ferrari techs that do not put up with re dos.
There fees and rates are reasonable (not the cheapest) you certainly get what you pay for and then allot more. Need a recommendation please contact me.
