Okay, I'm calling this exotic! A late model Dodge Ram Bumblebee (if that's right) Edition Hemi truck in the Batavia Target. Unfortunately, it's the property of a mobile hoarder!! This thing was so full of crap, there was only a "cockpit" for the driver. There was so much garbage in the back, it appears that it's bending the frame down!!!

Not if it obstructs your view out of the vehicle. I would also weigh him up because he's only allowed 8000 lbs. on passenger car plates. Depending on what's in the back, he could actually be overweight on his registration.

Wait.... I didn't think you could have "passenger plates" on a pick-up? Back in 2001 my winter car was a Ford Explorer Sport-Trac, the front 2/3rds are regular Explorer, the back 1/3 is pick-up. I was cited for having passenger plates on that, on Christmas day none the less.

Untrue, you can have passenger plates on a pickup. If you have no intentions of ever hauling anything that may put you over that 8000 lbs. there's no need to get B-truck plates which would cover you to 8,000 lbs. as well. Sounds like you bumped into someone who wasn't happy to be working Xmas......My Sergeant has a Sport Trac with passenger car plates right now.

Here's the Illinois Secretary of State definition of a passenger car plate:
"Passenger plates are multi-year and may be displayed on passenger vehicles, vans weighing 8,000 pounds or less and sport utility vehicles."

and that of a B-truck plate:
"B-truck license plates are multi-year and may be displayed on trucks and vans weighing 8,000 pounds or less, sport utility vehicles and antique trucks."

    Hope this helps.

This seems rather common compared to the stuff some of you guys have been seeing lately, but I snapped a picture so I'm postin' it! I spotted this at about 7:45 a.m. on Rt.31 North of Elgin this morning. He was short shifting it so much that I never really heard a peep :-( The weird thing is that the car was yellow - not orange. (I know my phone's camera sucks, but I never saw it change colors before.)

If it was a T, sounds like it might have been Martha Kushner.

Northbound on Franklin around noon. I guess that must have been you then. You weren't going fast, but the sound of it was awesome and above any other car nearby.

The one at the Hospital would likely have been our favorite tifosi neurosurgeon, Dan Harrison.

You might want to edit out the license plate.
