    Gents,

The round light on the front bumper of the 355.

I have one that was a little cloudy and now a stone has removed the glass from the good one on the front of my 355.

My question is... The original lights that fit into the bumper on the 355 are silly money from Ferrari and I am sure there must be an alternative from possibly Fiat or ??? that would be the same or very close that could be made to fit.

£120 each is a little harsh and I am sure I am not the only 355 driver to have had or will have this problem, any help or ideas would be appreciated.

If 120 quids is all those are, buy 4 of them and put them away. Put some 3M protective tape on the ones you will install and thank your lucky stars.

The 328 replacements are no longer availlable, If you can find them, they arr $1000 each.

+1, never heard of an alternate for the driving lights...simply get a new one, and get some StonGaurd on there...that is what I have done on each Ferrari immediately upon purchase. ;)

Saw my old 328GTS a while back, and the fog lights are still in perfect condition, thanks to me putting that film on them! :)

Thanks for all of the replies and information, I am sure that the units are sealed and that they can be cleaned by splitting the glass.

My original thought was that like some of the other parts used on the Ferrari, they may have been common to another car like a Fiat or possibly some other brand!

For example the remote alarm fobs I am told are also used by Ford, the heating control valve is also used by Volvo. I fould out recently that Alfa keys will also fit the 355 and 360. Silka GT16T2 if the part number is of any help. And it is a nice red key too!

I am not sure if Ferrari would have had the lights made specificly for this car and just for them or if they may have gone to the "Parts Bin" to find a light that would fit from another car possibly from the same stable. This certainly is also the case for the Idle control Valve which fits many other cars and is much cheaper that getting it in a Ferrari box.

This light/lamp is not a fog or driving light and is just used to flash so the beam would not be important just the size and fitting on the rear of the bumper which may be common.

I am frankly amazed to the lengths I will go to save £240.... Lol! But it may be an idea to have a list of parts that have been found to be common on all or any Ferrari's and the source for any bits we have found.

Again thank you all for your help!

If you think the 355 are expensive, take a look at a set of 348 ones.... IF you can find them

I am still working on the problem, what I can tell you is that the lights do unclip so you can clean the glass with no problem. So even if you find a second hand pair that look a little dusty or milky its not a problem.

The lights are made by Valeo in Belgium and the part number is 67807421 I have written to them and am waiting for a reply... Keep you posted if I get any info!

I'm in need of the left side fog light (the front glass on mine broke) for a 1998 355 Spider. Anyone have one they want to sell? Please PM me ASAP. Thanks

Sorry Florian, I don't know if anyone else picked this up after me but for sure I've run out of serviceable pieces. I'm pretty sure that's the case but I will check tomorrow when I'm at my shed. Which side of yours is broken?

Hi Mark, the right side of the car is broken. Find unfortunately no other light at a normal price.

    Thanks and best regards
