Gents, Okay, take III on the racing history of 500 TR #0618 in S. Are they any additional dates, class finishes, or race numbers that can be added? Not to mention corrections or additions? Who was the last Venezuelan owner before 0618 left S. America for Chinetti in the USA? Cheers, Mark
this car has me curious as it may have passed through my uncle bobby's hands at one point in carracas. he told me of a 4 cyl tr that he had that he said was a real screamer. if i am not mistaken, he may have painted some crazy graphics and a big vz flag on the car at some point. he mentioned galia...branko are you able to add to this? pcb
Hi Pete, sorry dont have anything to add about that car, if something pops up will let you know. branko

Anybody have any more images of the Alfa 1900 Zagato in back of 0352MM? Or any of it's history in South America?? Rich
This car came to Venezuela, does anyone have a serial number? branko Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks Cyril, what else can we find about this car, it was in Venezuela for a period of time I was told. branko PS I see this serial is beeing discussed in the Vignale section too.
0125EL would be this one with a scoop on the hood, just like 0159EL (according to the Vignale bible). Ed Niles no doubt knows this car very well, may be he can confirm the Venezuela car is 0125EL. Image Unavailable, Please Login
couple of pix of 0125 when in the hands of M. Sheehan, I think. Probably the 1970's. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi Boudewijn, I would have said this one is s/n 0138AM. Look the pics of Ed Niles of s/n 0125EL : the car didn't have little scoop on the hood, like the Venezuelan's one...
Far from sure, but I think it looks like Betz&Peters' place when the car was owned by Oleson. That would be mid-to-late 70's or early-to-mid 80's. Best wishes, Kare
I'm still thinking the b/w picture above is 0138AM and not 0125EL and I have just found the same picture with the caption : "4.1 liter 340 America cabriolet" in the 1973 Merritt's book... Does anybody have pictures of 0138AM BEFORE the trims were removed to see if it had a scope on hood ?? Thanks ! Image Unavailable, Please Login
In the final 1979 edition the photo is still there with 340 America caption, but in the 1985 Ferrari Cariolets & Spiders book Thompson (co-writer of Merritt's book) changes the caption in it being a 212 Inter example.
The caption in the Thompson's book says : "True Vignale cabriolets were constructed on the higher 212 Inter chassis, with minor variations in the grilles and other details" And this caption is aside two other pictures : 0255EL (a 212 Inter) and 0106E (a 212 Export) so still NOT convinced...
Just found these photos of 2 Ferraris in a scrap yard in mid 70s. branko Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Hi Cyril, I have no idea of those serials, got those pictures from an old shoe box filled with negatives that I have been scanning little by little. branko
A little more than two years ago, Gilles, well known in this FC forum, posted some nice photos of a "Special Ellena" 250 GT PF at http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?p=137702030&highlight=0687#post137702030 reproduced here and identified by Kare as s/n 0687. Carefully watching Alfredo Bruck's pictures, posted by Branko, seems to me that it could be the same car, taking in consideration its hood scoop and unusaul rear rounded tail fenders and stop lights.
