Guys...simply AWESOME!! Wish I could of been there to pitch in with you....unfortunately, between the dead F355 battery and no baby sitter for Thomas (7 months old) it was impossible. Looks like you boys got it done though.... This story reminds me a a famous quote below: "Make the most of yourself, because that is all there is of you" RWE
WOW! What an amazing thing you guys have done! THIS is what having these cars is all about! I read where Alexander and his family are from Louisiana. That's my neck of the woods. I'm sure the local Louisiana F-car guys would love to be a part of this too. Where in LA is the family from, if I might ask?
This is what us 'Yanks' do best....... is step up to the plate. Pick any disaster around the globe, and who steps up (and I don't mean the government). The folks step up to donate and volunteer in order to make a difference. The US was founded on Faith, Hope and Charity, and the quicker we return to those roots, the better. PM sent!
Nope, not gonna happen.......This deserves thread of the the year. Great job fellas, its amazing what some good hearted individuals can do in a little over 24 hours...... Hopefully the Phoenix , Las Vegas and Portland area guys can continue to show Alexander a great trip!
WOW!!!!!!!!!!! I just saw this thread and you guys are just AWESOME. I am so proud to be a member of this community. This what the internet is really all about. Making a difference in people's lives.
Sam, we might need your help up north buddy. I think they will be heading your way sometime between 25th-28th. If you can be the lead car with your beautiful 430 at speed of 165 MPH minus 100 it will be well appreciated. I will keep you posted.
We said Ferrar Rumble and we have it. Bob Lebenson (President of (FCOLV) is behind the seen working with no posts. Bob's email to me today indicated that a contact was already made with GM at Scottsdale Ferrari. He is happy to give Alexander a tour. They are staying in a hotel about 4 miles away. Thank you Scottsdale Ferrari.
This is so incredible. I just still cannot believe the generosity of the ferrari owners here..Putting all this together on such short notice and changing lives.. That is what it is about
Hi all, Having just read all 10 pages of this post, I wanted to say too everyone involved what a GREAT JOB you have all done for Alexander and his family!! Keep the ball rolling.............. Best regards, Phil.
Great of you to take the lead, Dino, esp. since you have many sources here in the area! Don't see anything in the Az forum, so please also post details for those who may be able to also attend, if there's a gathering. A couple of us are meeting at Pavilions at 3pm, if the family would be interested in that general show. Thanks!
Ingenere (Dino) was in contact with the family about an hour ago. Hope something can be put together there. Make it happen guys... post pic please.
Haig: We are all set up for 3:30 today at his hotel! Whatever we can do to make his time here enjoyable, and the best it can be. If any AZ people are hearing about this and want to be part.....PM me.
Fantastic - it's almost like the Olympic torch being passed from area to another Well done guys - bravo! Matt
You guys on here are incredible and give me a renewed sense of what is good in this world. The thought and generosity by everyone involved is very special.
We had a great afternoon with Alexander, his Mom and Aunt in Scottsdale. We were able to put together 11 cars and great owners who showed them a nice day. Hats off to the guys who came and brought their cars. It's days like this that make owning these cars that more special. John Jim Rick Alex Aurelio Brian Luca Ray Scott Brandon
Awesome Doc!!. Can't wait to see some pics. I just wish there were a way that Alexander could be lifted out of his chair, and be made comfortable in the seat of a Ferrari. Can you imagine what it would feel like for Alexander to enjoy a little jaunt about town - in the car of his dreams??? Maybe someone can bring this up with mom, and find out if it's possible - for one of his upcoming episodes of "Alexander And His World of Exotics" Constantly amazed Hank
