Hey folks, I hope you don't mind imparting a bit of Ferrari education here. :)

I noticed that this 456 seems to have some vents on top of the hood just behind the headlights:

But that this 456 has a smooth surface instead with no vents behind the headlights:

Was the Ferrari 456 updated at some point to either include or delete those top vents, or were they part of a specific package/option for the 456?

    All the best,
    Andrew.

The original 456 model had vents behind the retractable headlights. These vents disappeared on the 456M (modificato) model.

That car belongs to the owner of the yellow FXX number 22.
He lives in Tenesse and has lots of Ferraris including an yellow Enzo , 288 GTO , F40, 550 barchetta , etc .

He orders all the cars with special features . That S.A. has the signatures of all the workers that built it , and i think it was the last one made!!!

Przemek- If you take your original photo of the engine close-up and crop it around the Assembly No. so it is legible and post it, Carbon and I can probably tell you if it was built at the end of production or not. The Assembly No. is the top label of the three labels with Ferrari....Shell on the bottom one.

Here is another illustration of where it is, #5 below, plus our list of 575Ms and SAs and their serial and assembly numbers.

I downloaded the photo from your web album, and it was still too low res ot see the Assembly No.

I'm not a huge fan of the color scheme, but having the last one made of one of the all time greats would be very cool. I love it when the workers sign the cars, too.

Przemek- Great photos of the HGTC 575 SA.

You were right on the Assembly No., I cannot read it either. Next time, maybe.

    Yasmin,
you are not likely to find one, because with the top up, the car looks like an ugly duckling.
