guess it all boils down to what the paperwork says when they took your deposit n when they later confirmed the price. is there an official queue/with allocated nos. anyway? i thot not so they can always say your car is coming..later. i wonder tho if u had specced up(but not "enough") can you cancel your order. sounds to me their PR didnt handle this properly. should have just just put a +spin n said that those who spec up beyond $x will get special early delivery n not the other way around - but actually same difference

They've forgotten that in our tiny island, options are taxed 130%(?) as well on an already heavily taxed car. Wonder if EU clients pay Vat on options too?

The same 458 here can buy a few in some places.

I cud actually do with a replacement bumper as well. If there is 2 out there I'll take one

unbelievable! When can I get a Mclaren??

yes at the launch they had a video of it being built & they showed them drilling the standard bumper for the exhaust tips

calling Bryn, come in Bryn. You've had it 2 days time for an upgrade :D

    so, wat r u doing?

which explains why most of these cars hv little to no options on them when sold here.

I wonder how long they will make you wait if you refuse & are prepared to wait for a low spec car?

But potential numbers can be very strong.

Look at the population of Lambos here versus the rest of Asia.

Italians dont belittle this spot on earth, they know the spending power here.

    good point mate ...

not trying to belittle, but the buyers power comes from NUMBERS ... LARGE numbers ...

yes, there are a lot of these exotics here RELATIVE to the population ...

    Thats expensive.

Thinking back when the pricing for the 458 was annouced, most were happy with the price. But they forgot to add in the section that say 100K of options compulsory for early delivery!

Lung, the Scud is still a fantastic car. Can enjoy it for another year plus you dont have to pay 1M+ for the 458.
