:) yep, thanks for posting that for me, its a super clean, 58,000 mile 1985 Targa. it needs nothing, a/c works, it was just serviced, had the valve adjustment, and so on. i bought the 87 slopenose i have in my profile pic, so i dont "need" black 2 3.2 liter 911s. its time for another 308.

    $20,000 or so takes it.

    please excuse the spam.

Average condition 348s are now selling for $26k with 312hp and 1990s AC tech that actually blows cold.

Some interesting value plays are going on now.

    I'd never choose a 348 over a 308/328.

And heaps more expensive to service, not to mention that many of us think the styling of the 308 is more timeless and less "small cheese grater" in appearance.

me either, i was not going to say anything, but the 348 and 355 are not for me, i dont care how much they cost, when i want a 308, *want* a 308.

i would rather have TR, over a 348 /355 or 360, given the costs to maintain them.

308s are slow enough to be fun, without jailtime, and high repair / insurance bills.

    :)

Since I helped facilitate the spamming, err information flow, I expect a financial reward from both sides of the transaction. I will take my payment in unmarked pennies, delivered COD. :D

Main thing I'm not so wild about the styling, but there is much more.

It doesn't have the tubular frame, belts is engine out, and I don't like the way they ride. To me it seems that the 308 gives you much more feedback, it communicates better, whereas the 348 gives a more cushioned ride, less sense of drama.

Yes, it's faster, but compared to a well set-up euro 308 the difference isnt all that dramatic.

You should see what's happening to empty commercial buildings. You'd think that owners would care more, but I've been shown two 100,000+ sqft'ers where the fire sprinklers have been on for some time. Water running down stairs.

One must become cynical to even begin to explain it.

The description reads: "Body/ Motor/ Transmission all checked out great last time it was driven. [How long ago, 20 years?] ... The alarm system will need to be reset before it will crank and run." [Is he saying the engine can't be turned at all now?]

Irony is having an engine-disabling car alarm on a car that won't run.
