I think the fact that they pointed out I was poor, that pissed me off . As Jack Nicholson said: "You want the truth? You can't handle the truth!"
ok will try to take some pictures this weekend and ask ny wife to post if she's in a good mood. 6krpm, i need to hang on to my licence! oh n ive heard some horror stories that the murcie cannot sqeeze thru the narrow customs lanes at spore 2nd link n that eurosport applies for special permission in advance to use lorry(how apt) lane. is this true? this car has 20" rears .can it make it thru?
It will make it, but, very slowly! I've done it a couple of times and haven't hit the rims yet. You can get the special permission from Eurosports, but its a pain in the ass, because you gotta know the passenger details in advance as well... and well... I mean, how does anybody ever know the passenger in advance??
The pic quality is not so good. Let me know if i should chope for you. Will arrange for brudder price and let you know when it arrives. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes please. Let us savour some nice white Murcie C'mon, whack the bugger in some ungodly hours, that used to be my therapy after long hours in the office. Don't need to visit massage palours after that Yes, I've brought my Murcie across the 2nd link many times. Did scratch it once or twice but no big deal & u'd need to go really slow. I lifted the nose & it seems to go over the lower kerbs then counter steer while blindspot mirrors certainly help a lot on this tank! But 20" rears could be trying, is it on 355 or 365 rears? I'd stick to orig 18" as those big fat wheels & >35 profile will make your ride suffer IMHO. I didn't know you'd need to inform them of the passenger too?! It's just too much of a hassle to inform the customs few days in advance anyway. A guy once said he had to Q along with all those smelly trucks in the waiting area That is sad. Most humiliating in fact; if we hear it right. That's a good news. Please tell us about it
Maybe Italauto can practise what some watchshops do. Auction the first F458 to the highest bidder to make the walkover transparent. Let the market decide how far we'd go for being the first & extra proceeds going to some charity etc. It'll definitely create a buzz.
lol sounds ominous... looks like i'll have no problem picking you out of a crowd just gotta start talking about MB...
yeah, Ii do it with my windows down, and my head looking out at the tight junctures. Its a ***** but sure beats going in the lorry lane. Gets you split up from your friends, and ...i mean... if you go into the lorry lane... that's sorta like admitting you're a bad driver, right? Death before shame!! yeah, you gotta give em the passenger details, its a rather silly protocol, and rather inconvenient.
Will post some pictures once she's rolling along with my other overseas rides! Just sad that my other girls in S'pore will never have a 458 companion..
ES has some rims for sale @ anytime. Give them a call. Or u can check with Hon who sold the Hercules. I don't know about damaging the axles as these cars are hardly driven hard, u know what I mean but it happens to some Porsches etc with bigger wheels. Don't think it's that bad unless u clock over 20K a year but for trackdays & spirited drives, I'm pretty happy with stock wheels. U can put on Corsa tyres once you get your 18" as some guys swear by it for grip. The car is not full time 4WD but U turns are PITA!
