Saturday Car Show Triple Header?

I think this Saturday (April 24th) is shaping into a unique opportunity to experience 3 car shows within 8 hours. All FChat related too (hosting by 2 sponsors and a subscribed user).

Cars & Bikes at RUF Auto Centre 8 AM to Noon

Boardwalk Spring Show 10 AM to 2 PM

Big Racks BBQ Car Show 1 to 4 PM

I don't know, sounds like a good time to me, start with some exotics and finish the day with Boobs, Beer, and BBQ (not necessarily in that order).

 

I have raced over 100 weekends, I have only been to about 10 shows. I agree racing is better, but I still have some catching up to do.

I just can't get motivated to haul 200 miles to pack 3 races and a qualifying into 1 day. Maybe by next year I will be willing to enduro the Challenge car.

 

Yes, I will be at Ruf 8 am.

 

I will be heading to Boardwalk somewhere in range of 10-12. Don't think I can get everything in if I enter the Boardwalk show, so will just browse.

 

Brad hasn't logged in for a few days, so I sent him an email. Website says the rain date is this Saturday, but called in and manager doesn't think next show is until May. They don't have Saturday promoted or listed in their calendar except rain date for the 17th.

Hopefully they are still having it, if not options are to still go and enjoy Big Racks or if heart set on a Cruise-In Show then there is one up in Frisco...

Brad responded the rescheduled show is May 22nd. So I will add a little poll to see what everyone wants to do.

 

May 22nd is the new date. The organizing car club couldn't do it Saturday, although Brad still welcomes us to come out.

 

It looks like Big Racks is still the plan, especially since the people that voted are likely to go. I doubt Jim will end up going anywhere except the soccer field and how late does Dan have to work?

 

I was talking about you. We'll still be hanging out after 5 if you want to drive over to Grapevine for BBQ, Beer, and Boobs (no, not talking about Greg Scott).
