    Again touting Bob Petersen's(museum's) ownership, that will certainly wow the Monaco crowd.
    Isn't this the one that brought 40k-ish? Plus the cost of a boat ride and auction fees twice within a year this seller must be expecting a BIG price. I don't see lightning striking twice, hope I'm wrong though.

    Dear F-chatters,
    I attended this auction last week. This 1981 400i GT- 35097- was said to provide from a us collection, was estimated 38.000/50.000 dollars and eventually was sold for 31.750 dollars. Bonhams charges 10% on top of this.
    The car was a manual one, injected, fitted with an msd instead of the dinoplex. Show-room condition.

    Auction frequent flyer, not only sold at RM Monterey in 2009, but Gooding Pebble Beach in 2007 and Barrett Jackson in 2003.
