lol i'd presume Muse 1? I don't know them personally, i'm not quite involved in any of the car clubs or themes here.

Veyron did a few rounds near xintiandi, the enzo was seen in hong qiao.

i'm not sure, but it'd explain why it doesn't have a plate. I'll be on the look out for a CGT, and let you know DM.

btw, was your CGT originally in ur place in Zhuhai or HK?

They just opened a Bugatti dealer in SH, didn't they? I saw a Bugatti ad on the window of the Bentley dealer.

Haven't seen an Enzo or anything special, though I don't frequent many places where you'd find one.

I never see an Lambo's either, and there always seems to be different ones in the showroom, so they must sell them.

I miss driving... but I guess owning such a car in SH would kind of suck. Taxi's are the ultimate means of transport haha.

Greetings to all in the Shanghai section. I am moving to Shanghai to live in a few weeks and will be at the F1 race for the 3 days this will be my second time at the race as i attended the first one. Originally from England but i have been living in NewZealand for 15 years where i am the happy owner of a 1971 246GT which is sadly about to be put into storage after a quick(very) 2,000k run around the top of the south Island for the FOC AGM in a week or so.
Any way if any body wants to say hi or otherwise feel free Danny

the first Veyron is owned by a man in Chongqing, which is #1 of China
the second one is a white Veyron, which is from America
the third one is a black Veyron as showned by Mahwon which is owned by a man who is in his early 20 from Tangshan, man , this buddy is crazy , he bought his black veyron and zonda in a bundle from Hongkong, and now he is the offical agent of Zonda now in China. That's all i know.

BTW, Mahwon, i guess you are Fwerff from Xcar and Beijing SCC, right? lol, u r right, no Chinese F owners come here.

    Just got back from Xinjiang.

I wish I had my car there. Amazing highways out there. The road from Kashgar to Islamabad (Karakoram highway I think) is incredible. Very smooth, very empty, and absolutely stunning scenery. Lots of high speed straights, nice sweeping mountain passes. Nothing that seemed dangerous at all either. Unfortunately I didn't get to drive, as we had a private driver for the week and I have no license here, but I would have torn those roads up with a proper car.

Everyone seems to drive very slow though and they have speed cameras in the middle of nowhere.

I guess getting a car out there would be a chore and you'd stick out like a sore thumb in an exotic, but what a drive it would be.

I wonder how many exotic owners in China do road trips. I've never seen one on the highway. Do they really just hang out in gridlocked big city and Xintiandi?

if i'm not wrong, all of the veyrons are owned by young owners.

the veyron in chongqing's a wellknown industrialist's son
second one is a well known collector who also owns a black enzo and a fleet of other cars
the one in tangshan i donno much about.

    very wealthy daddies and family.

i heard there is a super car rally gathering from Beijing to Shanghai very soon at some stage?

I thought the same but I was terribly wrong.

There are a few local car sites where people share stuff, (no one comes on f-chat of course), they definitely drive the crap out of their cars. Some 360 Modena did a Tibet drive I don't know how he did it, I will dig up the picture when I get a chance, car is so dirty that you could not tell what it is. Some other F430 owner has a blog, he put like 60k km in 2 yrs, blew the engine twice. etc etc etc

The 3rd kid from Tangshan, has **** LOAD of cars, I mean **** load, Enzo and the whole Ferrari line-up, 2 Zonda Cinque since he is the official China dealer now, Lambo's, Bentley, whatever you can think of, he has it.

The supercar rally goes from Beijing to Shanghai, is to attend the supercar meet in May in Shanghai, actually caravans will go from all parts of China to Shanghai. It should be a hell of an event, beginning of May I believe.

Tibet would seem impossible. The roads would destroy the suspension if not the entire bottom of the car. People usually use jeeps and such to make those drives.

I have been at the race for the past 5 years, every year I was at the Grand Stand high, which is under the media overhang bridge, across from pits directly, supposedly best seat but it's boring since cars just blasting by you at high speed.

This year, tried out Section K, which is by the slowest hairpin on the track, turned out to be a great move, most of passing happened here, tons of actions. Will be sitting here from now on.

    Coupe shots from race day...

1st, right before safe car came in, all cars still maintaining order but were ready to go.
    2nd, Massa vs. Shumi
    3rd, Alonso vs. Kubica
4th, safety cars, the SLS soudned SICK.

This is gotta be the best race so far this year, loving the season.

so there really aren't that many F-car owners on fchat eh? What a shame!! I'm temporarily relocated here for the next 12 months and not much Fchat action. We should try to get something going....who's in?

You mean Chinese F-car owners on F-chat? no, they don't go on here.
Every exotic car you can see and think of in USA, they have it here in Shanghai, just owners don't get on F-chat. There are few Chinese forums they go on to though.
