U know what, the creepy aircon was the 1st thing that worried me! I remembered the guy who sold Lung's 328GTS had the same compliant. The aircon panel on the centre console is also disastrous looking with LEDs... While looking @ some Countachs from UK, there was this very nice 328GTS, http://www.amarisupercars.com/index.cgi?action=3&f0=1265640400-265 Was thinking of importing it into Malaysia & will cost abt S$120K. I'm also seriously considering the 996TurboS cabriolet with a spare hardtop. The only unit in Sg. but it's so similar to my 997 & I'm tempted to convert it the 996 to a manual
I'd say get the 328. You've got the modern, "comfortable" dailys. Its time to go for the charm, soul and passion The 355 IMHO, though extremely pretty, is neither here nor there. Its not a new Ferrari, nor is it a Classic. Its in that awkward and odd phase. Give it 10 years maybe?
Actually, the Testarossa is very easy to drive. I had it as my daily for several months with 19". Lung & Tim had a few between them as well. If they didn't made that many, I would buy one again for keep but the maintenance can be very scary when a major hits u!
Interior wise - the 308 looks much better than the 328. In fact if you can get an early carb 308, that might become a very desirable piece of kit in time to come. Some dealers reckon values are just about rock bottom for these cars now with 25k punds getting you a neat example.
If it was called that, I can imagine you ordering it from IA. "Jes, can I order a FXXK? I'm ready to deposit anywhere you want".
Hey, don't say like that. Will be re-mapping my car so that I can run alongside with the Lung's Scud and Derek's C63. Oops, just forgot that I need to remove just about every body panel to get the same power to weight ratios. Damn!
folks for driving shoes, please dont spend on nomex unless you are going to wear a 3 layer nomex suit with fireproof internals and such. Its pointless to fireproof your feet while you are dressed in tee and shorts.. Most shoes dont last more than 2-3 years in our climate. Even in storage. The glue they use....*sigh* I think Lung is trying to persuade Berluti to custom make him a rubber sole hand stitched racing shoe...or has he already done that...
ultimate in high maintenance-pay for economy but use gazillion points/miles from credit cards to upgrade to 1st ,must be!
Here's some pics. Is that a traction control warning light? How does it work? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Fong Oh the owner of the above 328 has a purple 993Turbo but ain't no selling it. 1st owner clocked 10k km in 12yrs.... Image Unavailable, Please Login
No lah! I only flew business and first once during the swine flu period because my parents were worried that I might catch something on the plane!
Hey but on closer examination, that indicator shows a typical TC warning. Something new to me but did your previous 348 have TC? This one must ask Tim as he has owned the entire F car range except for Dino.
testa-+1+1+1 testa maintenance- actually 2 of mine had the same achilles heel-crapp!y rear diff. my canadian aftermkt diff is finally on the way- hopefully my stealtha will be on the road again soon. surprisingly the mondial has given 0 problems after 2 months daily use, including 1 round trip to senai n back .really nice car-surprisingly cold aircon too! of course u shld see the previous owner's stack of bills!
