I just finished a PPI (with Brian Crall!) on a 328 GTS, and all things Ferrari just sort of catch my eye. While servicing my BMW, I was walking across to the Palo Alto Muni golf course to hit some balls when I came across this car. I did a double take and whipped out my camera phone.

I've seen different Ferrari parts on non Ferrari vehicles, but this was a first for me.

    ROTFLMAO!

Well, you have finally proven an Old Wives Tale in the Ferrari circles, that our bolt circle matches "certain VOLVO models"......

Now, go over there, and take the wheel BACK!!!!

    Unreal.........

Even the Volvo owner will have trouble finding 14" tires.

When I was in my young twenties, I wanted to put Ferrari wheels on my daily beater because I liked the design so much. Glad that I came to my senses though. :)

I like it, now I want an old Volvo so I can do it. Will it work on an old Saab?

I also have to say I'm glad it went on an early Volvo. Looks better with some metal in the grill.

In return, York compressor in those early 80's Volvo looks very much like the one in the 328, I pulled couple of those AC compressors out these Volvos in the junkyard, I would be surprised if it fits.

Our York compressor is actually pretty common in application, every 911 ever made, for instance!

I'm glad someone else sees that crack! Geez.......

I'll ask about my wheels next Monday when I go to the shop. I should have taken them home right away after the new ones were put on. I'll give you a call. None of the other 308s here have Campys on them so mine should be easy to spot.

These wheels are so pretty that they would improve just about any car. Just please, no Ferrari center caps!

PV Dirk, they're not going to work on a Saab, at least without serious modification. The Saabs used a four-bolt pattern on most, if not all models until at least 1994. Among other things.

Actually, the Volvo wheel wheel at least on an 89 740 Turbo will not fit on a 308 even though it's the same bolt pattern because the center hole of the Volvo wheels is smaller than the 308s by around 2mm, that's why I was able to fit the 308 wheels on the Volvo.

1st pic shows the Volvo hub center diameter
2nd pic shows the 308 hub center diameter
