Sorry, I'm not grasping the concept. Is this a take off on the "desmodromic" system?

    It IS a desmo system.

Funny, the Germans thought they invented it in the 50's but it turns out the French did in the 20's. Now we are inventing it again in the 21st century.

I can't, but just imagine if Ferrari made a desmo V-12 and what kind of noises that would make... :D

Ferrai 308 could have a single cam per bank.
    Bank A:
Exhaust is driven directly by the cam like first picture,
Intake through a balance like third picture.
Bank B can be coupled by a gear to invert rotation (if needed ???) and a small chain or synchro belt
otherwise the normal belt (or smaller !!!) can be used.
Bank B is like Bank A.

Intake will close and exhaust will open above the speed of the light !!!
We will see exhaust open before opening !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ..........

No more exhaust and intake open together !

    Who will build it ?

    Alessandro

I've seen this type before. Some kid with a year of engineering school, or a library card and an overactive imagination, thinks he's figured out the perpetual motion machine.

Same kinda guy spent a year trolling a cycling forum about a revolutionary new type of human-powered vehicle... ended up posting pictures of some overweight contraption that did more to break ankles than propel a wheel. Google "Dakoroman drive system" if you want some kicks.

I think he's taking a break from filling out form letters for his Nigerian pals to troll us.

I think you are all more crazy than me !!!!

May be will meet in an Italian hospital tied with four belt,
like i was last year while Osama's wife and child were visiting italy.

But don't worry i have finally been able to draw up a legal report
and have been pushed by a local (carabiniere) that likes to prepare coffes in a bar
and stop me almost every week while i try to drive my car with some cement (200Kg grrr!!!!)

But don't worry again, i have informed Napolitano Italian state leader
    (before beeing pushed, grrrr!!!!)

I am shure you are all more crazy than me !!!!

In italian to say that a guy is crazy, we say that thinks to be Napoleone.

Well, few meters near my home there was an hospital for crazy guys
    where Napoleone has been leaving.

I really adore you all, Alessandro.

This evening while driving in an empty street at 50 km/h
have been crashed from the back by a car driven by two carabineri.
They told me to be envolved in a "special operation".

Not applicable, the 308 intake & exhaust valves are open for 244 degrees!

From the sketches, this system adds significant moving mass to the valves, leading to reduced max engine revs, or increasing cam wear.

The auto mfg's are seriously investigating camless solenoid actuated valves providing infinitely variable valve timing under engine ECU control.

BTW, what is the English translation of "carabineri"?

"Carabinieri" is something like Police but depends from Italian armi.
Now i'm almost Polish and stay in Warsavia ghetto. May be i will then go to Minsk.

    Escaped from Italy !!!!
12 hour ryding my bycicle, than by train to switzerlan, berlin, london, glasgov and arrived at Newark in usa (jfk was not possible).
Arrived in Elizabeth city but had no arc and no lagage with me so had to fly away after 3 days to London.
Train to Berlin (again sleeping at the station!!!) than Liegi and finally varsaw.
Just bought a lagage and some dresses, never seen a ferrari here but many helping around in any country.

    Thanks you all, Alessandro

No ferraris on the the skyline but i saw many old fiat 124/125 or "something like that".
Here are good guys and i'm working on a video looseless encoder.
They are always looking for girls, may be tired of them go "badanti" to italy looking for the real-thing.

I'm always smoking and doing sex by myself.
May be soon i travel to Odessa looking for real betches !!!

Tayland never looked so far !!!!!! ......
